No...he's being a jerk. What you're describing is exactly what is currently missing from this ROM. Yes...I know the horse is dead and we're all having our fun kicking it, but it is something I miss...a lot...mostly when using programs that access GPS because not always does hitting the now very large "X" on the bottom actually close the app. Also, I don't always know the name of the process I'm looking to kill, so using a task manager of sorts isn't a good fix for me. And, as you had said, I too would be willing to pay Josh money for a fix for this. The ROM is, as I've stated before, and many others have, THE best ROM I've ever used...hands down...and I'm out of hands!

Yes...and yes...it does work...it's just not convenient. Face it...most people are lazy, and having to time double tapping (which doing this with a finger isn't very easy...but it is possible) isn't convenient. However...that being said...I am more at ease with using this with apps that don't always end...gracefully. Thanks for the link...many will appreciate it (me included).

Nice rom, is there a way to get the original 6.5 homescreen instead of the bigger version? no matter how much i use it i just can't get myself to like it.

Try this Start- Settings-Home-Items-Check Windows Default then ok out of there. Is this what you're looking to do?

hey man after a few days of use it runs slow esp wen texting in n out other than that good i think ill switch bc it too much of a bother for me

well that's what i want but it's not the original 6.5 homescreen. I can't remember what it's called. I want the one that looks like this one.

Sorry man I like the TF3D screen so I haven't played with the 6.5 screen all that much. You might have to find a certain/different background to get the look you're looking for.

I don't know if you've had success with this but it doesn't work for me using the empirom.

...so I guess you didn't make a contribution after all...that just leaves the jerk I suppose.

Showcase is so far the best option. As I've already mentioned, with showcase, one need only tap the digital clock in the upper right hand corner to open the showcase task manager. Sometimes when a program is freezing up it won't actually kill the program, in which case it is necessary to open the default task manager and kill it there.
