does anyone know if the arcsoft messaging will work with this rom?

I am going to flash this rom and then hard reset and then flash my custom rom. I was wondering, after you flash this sprint rom and it performs the autorun, does it delete the cab files? If not, where would they be located. There are some stock apps that I would pull the cab off of before flashing the custom rom.

The cabs should be located in \Windows.

How does this rom compare to DCD's final 6.1 rom? i believe .96?

yep works just fine...im using the newest 1 floating around

Just installed updated ROM and things went perfectly....only took about 5-10 minutes.
One thing i've noticed though and i don't know if it has to do with the update is i am having internet connection issues and my weather won't update? I think there's just issues with the network i'm hoping?

did you do a hard reset after flashing? have you tried running the Update Profile?

No, should i have? Wouldn't hard resetting after i put the new rom on just reset it back to the old factory settings?

As far as updating profile no, haven't tried. What's that do?

Sorry for the NOOB questions, this is my first WinMo phone.

Lasly, does anyone know or have they experienced not being able to get on the internet after going to this rom? Ever since i updated to this rom i have no, and i mean zero intrnet capability.
Just had to take phone to sprint to have it looked at and they can't fix, and said they'd have to hard reset. It will be interesting to see if it goes back to the original factory rom as they say it will or what and whether it fixes my problem or not.

Now i'm scared to put the new rom back on fearing it will disable my internet again???

New ROM isnt going anywhere my friend unless you unlock the TP and flash another. Your issue isnt unique there are steps to get your internet back. Now that you took it to Sprint,lets see what you get.
You can update your internet profile
You can reset your data profile under ##rtn#
You can check you have 1 under your profile in ##data#....
Anyway just report back, good luck
