what happened to yours? i made the mistake of relocking it AFTER I had spent an hour configuring it and installing all the cabs. It froze on the Error Upgrading Rom tricolor screen. I had to reflash using the shipped exe file, which was weird because the shipped exe file wouldn't work when the phone was normal.

i flashed to the shipped sprint rom, relocked, then flashed to this rom. so far, so good.

Hi,
I am using the Sprint Latest ROM 2.01.651.6 on my Sprint Touch Pro in India on Reliance (carrier). Now my question is that I have used the HTC_CM_Killer posted in this topic earlier and it has killed the cm guardian file. Earlier we were manually replacing with a zero byte file. Now with this new rom whenever I reboot and connect to internet, it gives an irritating message of device being configured and tries to connect to, I think, sprint server and then gives error that device could not be configured for this service. Even though the internet connects perfectly with the connection I have set (as we have deleted the Sprint connection).

Is there any solution to this minor irritant so that it does not say go into Device Configuration thing every time...

Dude in India, no reason to post same thing twice, we read it all. I think you are talking about the 777 connection right? need to look up the data killar cab not the hcm killer that just changes the PAM in the registry to Sprint and make it stick....look that up , 2 cents as I am not sur ehow u r set up is. Yes, I am talking about the #777 connection; It works without a hitch on wifi; We are on 1X network here (not EVDO); If someone could guide me to the changes in PAM in the registry (the path in the registry i.e.)

or some other feasable solution... Rest everything is working perfect calls, sms, data etc. only this small irritant is there of the Device Configuration popping up once every soft reset. I am sure it can be solved in the registry and the path is all I need...

Quick question for those who are flashing to this rom.. Anyone know what PPSTpatch.exe is? I see there's a PPST_09_0522_HermannC.cab in this package, and wondering if it gets installed in the rom install or what?

Activesync is borked for me, so I need to flash this rom via the bootloader. Has anyone run this cab as well or know what it does?

Pretty sure it's the same as this:

and flashes the PRI to the newer version. I had to do it separately myself. Follow the instructions in that thread and you should be A-OK.

Is anyone having a problem with programs turning themselves off on their own? Like I keep dashwire running all the time in the background and find its no longer running and I know I didn't close the program. This has happened many times on different programs.

maybe they aren't closing themselves but disappearing from the taskmgr drop down menu. idunno what's going on yet. lol

the htc task manager will do that. I completely disable it and use quickmenu, so I'm not much help. look around thare are tweaks for that in htctask
