Code:
CFG: \Windows\Baseline.txt a tip about cooking in stuff.. what I typically do is take the cab I know works, run it through package_creator (in my TOOLS folder) and then drag the resulting OEM onto EXT_PACKAGE_REBUILDER (also in TOOLS) this process converts the cab to an oem and then from an oem to an EXT. then just modify the app.dat to make any shortcuts go into the proper subfolders on the start menu. try this instead of using other people's EXT's. can't hurt,. OH YEAH.. you might have a alltel carrier OEM instead of EXT, if that is the case you would definitely get an error... run ext_package_rebuilder on it. an easy way to tell if you're looking at an OEM is if there is an initflashfiles.txt instead of app.dat, and a long hexadecimal number (called a GUID) with a RGU extenstion instead of app.reg. also in an EXT there is a files subdirectory, in an OEM there are no subdirectories except for modules. Downloading your 23075 ROM now. I tried out Calkulin's 23075 ROM earlier this evening. It seemed pretty stable and fast for being so new. It was, of course, not as fast as a Baseline ROM. His was also running at 46% on my phone fresh after reboot and I hadn't done anything to it yet. Didn't seem like battery life would be too hot. He also has a lot of fluff in there. I'm excited to test drive your 23075 ROM. Be back later with some thoughts...
-Aight, just flashed and as always with your ROMs...DAMN!!! So fast!!! I love it!... -YouTube works great too! Very smooth, not catchy, jumpy or sticky and no fast motion blur. -G-Sensor set to disable at first...go in and enable it. -No Quick GPS? -Messaging froze up once while I was configuring settings...had to reboot. I think it was because all my emails were pouring in from the syncronization as I was doing it. It hasn't happened again since. There are no send button or any other issues that I can find. Sent out a few texts and all went well. No keyboard lag here. -I know there have been some reported issues with using Showcase as a replacement for HTC Task Manager quick access. I have installed Showcase and I can't say that it's affecting anything negatively or causing any sort of lag or freezing in the system. Everything seems to run smoothly. -Fresh after reboot I'm running at only at 40% memory usage after most of my additions and tweaking. So no complaints or bugs here. Beautiful, fast and smooth ROM. Thanks again! Baseline remains my ROM of choice!

As well, I believe I tmail.exe crashed my phone as well while setting up my e-mail. Hasn't crashed yet since. On reboot after installing all my programs (and associated junk that runs at startup), my phone's at 41% (120.46MB). Not to shabby (kept page pool at 20MB too, instead of reducing it to 16MB). All in all, it's running well, and super speedy. I think I figured out what was causing my keyboard lag - i think nuekblight's sip switcher is broken with 6.5.1
