mine will shut the screen off I just turn it on again and maybe scroll to anther tab then back and it just works.. it is kinda fun (though no advised to drive) to ride in a car somewhere and get updates every minute or so and see how many towns you did not know existed you're going through when you are going to your normal destinations...

you know the setting to disable vibration on the sip?

System Tools>Fingerkeyboard setting>Options (2nd tab on bottom) "Press vibrate" change to no vibrate.

Task manager access is quite annoying. I"m glad to have it back, but I wish Showcase didn't "F" things up so bad. I'd much rather use that.

i was considering looking into making the home button load up the task manager app just for that reason.

hadn't thought about that. How would you get to the start menu if you did that? Is it possible to route it to one of the soft key buttons?

Oh, you mean the hardware home button...

first time ive flashed a raid rom...fantastic job raid. very very nice rom. i agree guys, cant remember which one but ive used a rom recently that had the task manager mapped to a long-press home hardkey. worked quite well. all in all this is very nice mate, im gonna run this for a few days and give it a good go
