my AVG finds a threat detected in the tools folder of the kitchen, htcrt.exe. Should i be worried about this?

for vibrate go to start settings personal buttons vibrate. I have disabled this by default in the next release. the softreset will also be fixed in the next kitchen, in fact it is fixed in 2.1.. tachi phonecanvas... just be sure to remove or skip all my phone exts and it should just work. video out I did not know about, thanks for pointing that out. I do not know about program tabs but I know if you look in the reg inside my geny manila ext there is an option for start menu, may check into that. As said before I am not a manila guy. as far as the threat from AVG goes, I run mcafee enterprise and it does not find anything. if you;re worried just delete the htcrt.exe and download one from the web, I am sure it is in another kitchen.

the battery driver does work, well I cannot really tell because the driver in my kitchen already reports in 1% increments. I do not have a 1% capable icon though unless you remove the _skip file from taskbar, in there is a battery icon for 1%.

edit: ah yes, if you notice that cabs work fine but you cannot cook them in it means that sometime after they are cooked in, something else in the kitchen is overwriting the changes you're trying to make. this may help

so i did something way wrong. titanium wont even load. im assuming i shouldnt have deleted the whole line in the start.cmd. I'll try again tonight. i did however get startmenu and icons all in the right folders! contact thing is bugging me though. when u use the fix did u use the ones i uploaded or something different. maybe u could upload a rar'd phonecanvas with the fix? if not no biggy im gonna play around with the 6.5.1 builds tonight. ty

yes I used yours. I have integrated everything you posted into the kitchen and will be releasing it soon! I am doing my final tests, still yet to test on a live device though. I have built many 23064's and 23017's and neither have the problem with saving to contacts, but time will tell when I put it on a live device.

what line did you delete from the cmd file? btw, the next kitchen release is going to way more user-friendly. I noticed when I got TW 4.2 I lost opera favorites panel... I had to extract it from 4.1.5 and make it a standalone EXT, I have made a lot of stuff more standalone, but havent touched manila yet.. I suppose I should separate the compnents like the other kitchens do. this is really exctiing, 23064 looks like the best yet.

also going to go with a transparent titanium slider, it looks really cool IMO, plus it helps with the overall smoothness/performance of titanium

ill wait for most of these bugs get fixed in the new kitchen. as for the tachi dialer, if your talking about everything in the exts folder, then yes, i did delete everything! the video thing, great to help point that out! the manila tab, what exactly will i need if i get the manila folder from calk? i dont know if you remember, but if i just use that folder, manila will have some bugs, and i remember you telling me that you need other exts too! so what folders will i need from yours in order to put in calks?

I have an idea, there is probably not any CPR files (XML files that dictate how titanium looks) in the rom after you stop loading that cab... anyway, I have fixed the cpr thing in the next kitchen as well. I am flashing 23017 titanium onto my active TP as I type, so I will see about this contact adding thing once and for all. I have included your fix files in the dialer app. As far as manila goes... I have to say I have no idea, but I will look into it. I will separate out all my manila files into what they do and that might make it easier.

EDIT: I can confirm the add contact bug has disappeared in 23017 titanium

i only run titanium. i never run manila. i even turned it off when i first got my touch pro and ran just the 6.1 interface.

same here, the manila stuff was directed to m_reyna.. I don't know how much I'll be able to do this weekend, I need to pack to move. so it may be next week before the next kitchen.
