its like a file transfer protocol between bluetooth devices, i used it alot to transfer stuff from my PC to my TP when i didn't have the cable around. and just cause its nice and convenient to just be able to transfer something without having to grab out the cable, especially if its nothing seriously like a 1mb file of some sort.

Thanks, I had tried that one also, when I goto server settings it does not let me edit the verizon settings.

What do you have under your connection settings for "verzion wireless"? under the modem tab does yours say "data network connection" for the name and "#777" for the number?

thats exactly what mine says...how about hard reset install stock rom and radio and then retry?

I think we need an official post for .cabs to reinstall parts of the stock ROM people may want.

Advanced users can use the kitchen, and probably have a selection of OEMs already waiting- but this is a solid clean rom that I think more n00bs should be considering, but currently are avoiding because they lose some of their basic apps.

Someone I suggested this ROM to gave me the following list of things he wants the cabs for (I have most of these as OEMs, but that won't help him):

Sprint TV ( FOUND: http://www.jbawireless.com/SprintTVV...11_19_2008.CAB)
World Card mobile (FOUND: http://www.jbawireless.com/BCR%20World%20Card.CAB )
HTC Zip
PDF Reader (http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/attachment...9&d=1226624317)
Clearview Presenter (Does anyone use this? In any case, it might be useful)
Opera Browser (I recommend the beta: http://www.opera.com/mobile/download/)
Audio Booster
BT Explorer
Jetcet Print 5 (apparently people DO use this)
Mp3 Trimmer (http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/attachment...6&d=1239871222)
MS Voice Command

If anyone has links to cabs for these, (or others from the stock rom) please let me know, and I'll try to update this post as I find them.

DCD, maybe we should include this on the first post?

I think that's a great idea. To some extent, it's already been done by jakdillard:

Im not sure how many other users of this dcd rom also use slingplayer, but wow, this by far the best performance ive ever had on my Touch Pro. For me, the only downside to this TP was slingbox/player performance. Since installing the dcd rom, sling has been outstanding. Smooth video and audio with 25-28fps on average. Thats even with a fairly low data signal. Im just curious if anyone else here uses slingbox, and your experience with it on Mr. Dcds' rom. Best rom ever!!

Hey DCD. I just wanted to thank you for your hard work and for a great ROM for the Touch Pro. It's good to see you building a ROM for us.

To everyone else, does anyone have the newest cab for voice command? Any help is appreciated.
