Time for my N00b moment...
how do you set up a windows live e-mail account on this rom? (2.06 pre cooked)
it just takes you to a page with a link to windows live.

this doesn't install windows live search or anything else, does it? Just the settings for the e-mail?
i don't care how new it is, i just want it too work. i have never flash a rom where it didn't work out of box.

DCD,

ok first you have great ROM here... I have been running now for about a 1 week with great battery life. Now that I think I will stick with your ROM I have a question.

I notice you are the only 1 of the 3-4 Roms I have tried to have more customable buttons to change the options under "start/setting/personal/buttons". In there you have "Home", I would like to set it to the time widget on "windows default"....

it gives you the option when you set it up for the first time. I always use that windows live cab, but you can also manually setup hotmail in pocket outlook without needing the windows live cab. You just have to first set it up using something other then @hotmail, like @hmail. that way it doesn't stop the setup and give you the link like the screenshot above. Then you can press on with the setup using these settings http://mailcall.spaces.live.com/blog...%2149799.entry then when you're done and you've saved it, edit the settings and change the @hmail, to @hotmail and it will work.

I think I remember reading that his kitchen is set up so you should be able to drop whatever SYS build you want into it. The "magic" is managed through EXT.

i'm not doing anything to set this so it is likely the default in 23016

i looked at the titanium cpr and dont see any way to change it but i dont mess with those, you might ask at xda in the developing/hacking forum

I had the same problem with 2.06 I did a hard reset and set Microsoft Myphone to sync only contacts and calender not text messages that fixed it for me.

sounds like another possible 23016 issue because i cannot reproduce it here, i only sync with exchange and do not sync txt.

i am appalled, dcd u omitted OBEX? what were you thinking? consider me a temporary non-DCD-ROM user until OBEX is included.

i have no idea what you are talking about?

please do not bump your questions let alone twice in one page... i do not have alot of time for PDAs but i try to answer everything that is not already answered when i do get time. if i make a big response post like this one and i missed your question and nobody else answered either, then i guess a bump might be appropriate..

i do not know any way to accomplish what you want to do, but isnt that what the end key does? i guess you could run /windows/kbdconfig.exe and change home(hold) to emulate the end key, instead of app button 2.

i use it day to day but it doesnt fit the aim of my project... i will not go to the new UI until the changes are complete and OEM packages are updated to fit the screen.
