What Kernel are we working on, hasn't there been like several new ones since 2.16?

Yes this is 23016. I am sure DCD is working on an update to come soon. I do know that new builds are coming out very quickly, so I am sure once he has something that he feels is stable it will be posted.

DCD's holdup has to do with the new interface in the later builds. Unofficially dubbed "6.5.1", these have the start menu moved to the bottom with an enlarged touchable bar down there.
The problem is, some screens such as the traditional HTC dialer that we're used to, don't fit properly and display improperly (scroll bars, etc).
The last thing DCD wants right now is to release something with a ton of questions and need to support it more.

Once he finds a dialer that works well with that screen layout, he'll update the rom.

Meanwhile, we're going to see about throwing the old UI onto one of the new builds... stay tuned, folks.

A DCD Rom update would get me excited... Is that weird? Been using a Calk Rom for a while.

Im having a bitch of a time finding a decent kitchen kit, or any kit at all for that matter.... anyone know where i can find the kitchen, build, and carrier files so i can cook up a rom?
