can anyone help me a little with this rom. I copied the sashimi folder to the root sd card and flashed the phone, i did the setup then rebooted the phoen and so far nothing has happened?

What ROM are you using?

Also make sure you don't have the SASHIMI folder inside another SASHIMI ie:

Storage Card>>>>SASHIMI>>>SASHIMI

When you extract the files you will find them inside a folder called SASHIMI, hence SASHIMI inside SASHIMI. You need to have this:
Storage Card>>>>SASHIMI>>>>programs, auto ect....

I am not real sure as I don't have that problem and cannot reproduce. I also don't have that problem on 4.0....

I think it's interresting how these roms very from phone to phone...

Under the 4.0 section of the first post, theres a screen shot of the home page and right above the clock there's 4 icons, Phone, wifi, BT, data. Are these hotkeys to turn the features on and off and how do i get those icons to show? I dont see them in the 4.5 rom at all...

The cabs for all that stuff are in the SAHSIMI>>>AUTO>>>CABS folder. The cab you are looking for is comm.cab it believe and yes thats what they are for....

So far I am liking this rom. I have not had any other experience with Windows mobile 6.5 so I dont know how much of this rom is native 6.5 and how much is custom, but so far so good.

My only feedback for the creator is that it would be nice to have some good hirez bluetooth icons added. the bluetooth addon cabs provided is decent, but the icon is low rez and it doesn't show when you have an active headset connection. the stock rom had a bluetooth icon when on and then a bluetooth icon with a little headset over it to shows its actively connected. That was a handy feature for me...

Looks like I don't have comm.cab there, tons of other stuff tho....

Are we always installing stuff thru sashimi now, or can I run the cabs manually like before?

Side note, i'm not even sure how to install via sashimi, i think it launches on reboot automatically...

yes you can install manually or by auto install. I have attached the cab for you.

Ok, so I got the cab installed (ccomm) and the icons show up now, but they don't respond to touch at all it just scrolls up to voice mail?

Are these status indicators or are they supposed to be touchable?

They are both. You won't see then like taht when you scroll to them. You should see a setup. Tap the setup and select the defaults for each. Now you can swipe left to right and tap to turn on or off that specific radio.
