One other annoyance that I can't seem to turn off is the text completion thing at the bottom of the text message window that only appears in landscape mode. Its a gray box that tried to guess what you are typing and really slows the texting down. I have gone into "input" and turned off Word Completion, but that doesn't turn it off... Any ideas?

open the hard keyboard and then press FN>>Space and select ABC

If you are using 4.5 it won't because it's not installed. Run this cab...

Ok, This rom is doing what I need it to now.

Now I just have to learn WM 6.5. Seems like they are going the iPhone route and just throwing a ton of icons on one page. I kind of miss the older setup where you could have a few frequently used programs on a quicklaunch of sorts...

guess i need to install 4.5 to truly immerse myself in 6.5. what does 6.5 do for task mgmt? so if you removed all htc apps....does it revert back to old volume control? did you remove htc camera and album as well? long press end? thanks.

WM 6.5 task management appears to be the same as before. I just like having the shortcut in the top right hand corner.

Old volume control = yes
Camera works just like the stock sprint rom
Its still has an album but I don't think its the stock one...
Long Press is included (I use that alot)

Hey PTFD....Thanks again for the help. I figured out that only certain programs won't show on task manager, and I am not sure why, but its actually not a big deal at all really. Most everything that I use is fine.

Far as the com manager scrolling, I figured out that those only work to turn off, not on com modes.

I have been playing with this rom as much as possible today while at work and am liking the speed and ease of use. Very clean, very intuitive.

One question, and maybe this isnt the right place to ask, but is there a way to update the installed cabs that sashimi is managing without hard reset? I havent really started tweaking yet, but if I do, I am not gonna want to hard reset after getting it all perfecto.

P.S. It looks like I am idling at about 35% memory use. Is that what everyone else is seeing? This is with the 4.0 rom running touch flo. I was getting about 33 in 6.1 without using touchflo, but the memory leak was horrible with 6.1. This one doesnt seem to be getting bogged nearly as quickly, even after using opera.

I had the 4.5 rom on the phone last night and was missing some of the HTC stuff about 5 secs after first boot. Some of the HTC apps just make it plain easier to use stuff. Sorry had to bust off the opinion, and this is coming from someone that did not use touch flo with 6.1.
