Re: JD's Clean Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM & Kitchen (beta updated sept.10)
Is there a way to load tf3d 2.1 on this rom without having to run the cab to install it? Ive tried the cab and it works but takes hours to install and im completely hopeless when it comes to editing a rom.

Re: JD's Clean Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM & Kitchen (beta updated sept.10)
I wanted to try out a ROM with the new native 6.5 kernel, so I gave Jmz's XOR ROM a tryout. I'm not a big fan of the customizations to the ROM, so I won't be using it long term, but the native 6.5 kernel does seem to make some noticeable improvements in performance. The biggest difference is that everything seems quite a bit smoother and more responsive.
JD, I've become a big fan of your clean ROMs and would love to see a new ROM cooked up with the native 6.5 kernel. Do you have anything in the works?

Out of curiosity, what are the drawbacks you're noticing?

EDIT In any case JD, I'm looking forward to your next ROM. Any chance it'll drop today yet? Last edited by xenokira; 09-14-2009 at 02:31 PM. Reason: added comment. |
