Just think about it this way. The TP2 isn't even being used to it's full potential yet because it ships with WM 6.1. This phone was built for WM 6.5 it just wasn't ready in time. When 6.5 is released next month it will be like a totally new phone all over again. The hero is nice but the screen being smaller, less resolution, and no keyboard is a no go for me. My girlfriend may get the Hero if sprint doesn't release the TD2 though. I will play with hers if she does lol but the TP2 is right up my alley and i can't wait until i get it. I'm sure WM 7 builds will start leaking soon enough and they are already working on porting android over to the TP2 so you really will have the best of both worlds.

man..i want that tp2 soo bad..and or td2..but i have the sero..would it work with sero? its either i keep my sero..or i get a new phone..>=/

You might be able to use the Sero plan with the Hero...... I read through the plan requirements and it doesn't specifically say you have to have the Everything Plan like it did on the Palm Pre.

The HERO is coming to SPRINT???? and it's only $179 the specs on the Hero is actually better then the TP2... (at least I think so.)

I think I am going to try out the Hero just to see what it's like.

I dont need the touch pro2 as long as we have people like JD keeping these awesome roms coming. Ya its a bigger screen but otherwise its a wash for me. Plus on a practical level I got 1 more year before I get my phone discount

I am getting the Sprint TP2 next week when I switch from VZW to Sprint.

The even with the discount the new TP2 will be #350....... that is way to much...... at least for me it is......

JD, ever think about moving over the the HERO.... Android.......
