Re: JD's Clean Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM & Kitchen

anyone have issues posting today? i tried just before noon today and it kept telling me my posts were too short. they were 3-4 sentences long, so i dunno how that would be too short. seems to be working now tho.

anyway, i was going to point out that msft is planning on releasing wm6.5 to the world on oct 6th but i see that is front page news now. so my question for mr JD is when do you think we will see the final build? you must have an inside source somewhere, i mean i don't have mobile OS's being tossed at me every time i turn around.

Just follow this thread for new builds... http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=54678

We are lucky to have people with access to just about every build/rom released.

I usually rearrange the icons through activesync on the PC, easiest way for me...

There were a couple questions about the pagepool on this rom. It is set to 12... Just verified with the hex editor. The rom has not been modified to work with the pagepool changer which is why it shows 6mb. Using this to change your pp will not actually do anything with this rom. either change it in the kitchen (if possible) or use a hex editor.

Re: JD's Clean Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM & Kitchen

Well I must say that JD's 23041 build is the best (by far) windows mobile rom I have ever used. Windows Mobile is really moving forward! Thanks JD!!! I really see no need for this one to be in beta.

well with the experience I have had with windows mobile there is never a final build actually I didn't start following builds until the early stages of wm6.1 but generally they just continue to make builds with slight changes that most of the time go un-noticed

Re: JD's Clean Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM & Kitchen

JD, on the 23041 build I am noticing a little lag on the battery icon changing when I plug it into my car charger and then remove it. the icon takes a long time to change. (This is minor)

Re: JD's Clean Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM & Kitchen

I'm still having Issues with my touch screen not working/working erratically. I've flashed 23034, 23037, and now 23041. Is anyone eles with the verizon touch pro having this issue? I love JD's rom but I'm going to have to go back with 23016 if I can't figure this out. Any help/guidance would be greatly appreciated
