I've been wondering the same thing. I built a ROM from the 21502 kitchen that stays at 145 or so MB for DAYS no matter how much i use it. All the newer builds seem to leak memory causing me to use a RAM reclaimer and eventual soft reset.

well you should soft reset at least once a day anyway but GWES.exe is where all of the work is being done at this time by MSFT so at the moment so exchanging out GWES.exe may cause you to have errors of miss out on updated features .... actually I'm running 23004 and it is not to bad but yeah there is a leak there

been thinking of building a rom with 21502 lately actually. I had the best luck with it as well. some claimed there was ring tone corruption on that one.
The 23xxx have been rough
EDIT: I actually used windiff and swapped out some files from a 21234 sys to the 23004 sys, mainly networking components, but it came up fine, WMDC still wouldn't work though. I didn't make it to diff on the oemdrivers. are u guys using no2chems tools when u cook the mem leak roms? just wondering if that may have any bearing. will have to try to talk to him later if i get a chance.

ok i was thinking the first 2 but then i thought when they are old then they use a wheel chair
