Tech, in case you haven't already cooked this into the second beta for Starship, please try to revert the volume controls. I don't know exactly what you did between 23004 and this new starship beta, but system and call volume seem to be tethered...if I want my phone on vibrate, the call volume is all the way low...if I am on a call and jack up the volume so that I can hear, when the call is over, I find my system volume is nearly maxed out...for people in the business world, I could see this being a problem in meetings where you thought you had your phone set to vibrate, but it was not...
My SMS is also a little laggy...anybody else experiencing this? Could it be pagepool related? |

Having issues getting Tripod mode running on Starship...per instructions, I unchecked the Windows Default in today/items, installed the two detacher files, soft reset, went back to second today and clicked TF3D, but it is in a constant load...I never got the message about not allowing TF2D, and am unable to get back to the Today/Items area...when I click on Second Today now, it pulls up one screen with the Today icon at the top, but when I click that file, it goes to File Explorer every time, not Today...
Any ideas on what is going on here? Thx |

liking the rom everything looks good do have one question when you do your next release are you going to bump up the pagepool size like requested in another post? |

Tech, ROM is looking great, still need to try several apps or features... many packed into the ROM! I would agree with ACS's comments concerning the 2nd Today Screen. I've installed the related detacher files, Reset and I get a TF2D loading screen. If I press the Home Key it will flip over to a TF2D Desktop home page at times, but then flipping to different Desktops isn't consistant. It may be simply ME setting things up wrong, what's needed to be added or modified with the new Starship ROM (wasn't sure if some of the old posts related to the Starship ROM). If you could you touch on the 2nd Today utility setup & related Cabs to allow adding 2nd and 3rd Desktop: I'd like to run WM6.5 Default, TF2D and SPB M3 Desktops. Thanks, Looking Great so far!

A few more minor issues.
I had a weird backlight issue last night that completely drained my battery. A soft reset may have cured the problem but I'll be on the lookout for it again. I have a few minor font changes and the only software I've downloaded and installed are the tripod files and weather panel and updates to Skyfire. Oddly enough I've also got the htc volume control back (puzzling as I'm not sure what software update or install caused it but I'm happy. Clean RAM needs to be updated to at least ver 1.5 as that is the one with autoupdate features. The OEM files are located on ppcgeeks in the Clean RAM thread. Other than these few things, I'm really impressed the ROM seems smooth and snappy and has some great software installed. I really like the new Saturn mobile interface. Good job Tech and keep up the great work. On a side note. I've been trying to run some m3u files for radio streaming on GSPlayer and it won't work. Since TCPMP runs m3u files I guess that's where I should run them.

When you exited the Today/Items Area you should now be in the "Window Default" home screen mode... You should now see "TouchFlo" in the lower right hand corner, tap on "TouchFlo" several times for the first, next time it will be smooth... Now you should be in the "TouchFLO 3D" home screen mode.. 6. Notice again, the "TouchFlo" is still in the lower right hand corner, tap on it, the right soft key automatically changes to "Second Today" and the right soft key automatically changes to the "Today"...{PICTURES COMING} 7. Now your Touch Pro has be changed into a Super computer "TriPod Mode Multi home screen device via artificial command intelligence... Tap on the left soft key ""Second Today", this will take you to the Second Today settings area, where you check mark the blocks that you want on your "Second Today Home Screen and arrange them in the order that you want on your Second Today home screen... 8. The ONLY two blocks that CANNOT BE CHECKED MARKED in this area are the WINDOWS DEFAULT AND TOUCHFLO 3D blocks... After you have chosen the items that you want on your Second Today Home Screen and arranged them in the order you want them to appear on the Second Today Home Screen, you can exit the Second Today Settings area... Your TP is now in the full "TRIPOD MODE SUPER COMPUTER"... QUAD POD MODE INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Install SPb Mobile Shell to your TP, if it's not already on your device.. On your TP go to Settings> Buttons> and assign the long-phone send key to Spb Mobile Shell and exit, now your TP is in the Quad Pod Mode... One touch action action to all four home screens... If you have a lot of pop ups with the Spb mobile shell, just move the exe file in the Windows Start Up folders to My Documents or Program Files on your SD Card..... *GIVE JNUTS ALL THE CREDIT FOR ALL THE ABOVE INFO ON THE TRIPOD/QUAD MODE, JNUTS WROTE THE BOOK...{LOL}

The "StarShip Version" beta program is now open to the public at large, the download is now in post #1, it is located at the very bottom of post #1... Please read the instructions in post #1 first before installing the new software, install at your own rish, enjoy....
