I'm using the rom version from the last link in downoload section. So, you are saying to wait for your Starship release, then I'll be able to use my phone as a intended, as a phone?

Re: ALL NEW! "STARSHIP VERSION" MultiMedia7 Super ROM BUILT IN Iphone3g {3D Graphics}
Just loaded the Starship Multimedia 7 Super ROM beta and so far, so good. The load went remarkably fast. Soft reset boot time is fast. Everything is smoking hot fast. I will try to test out everything I can this afternoon and report back.

If the results continue to come in like this, it may pave the way for a earily public release at large, thanks to all the beta testers for your early response... |

Re: ALL NEW! "STARSHIP VERSION" MultiMedia7 Super ROM BUILT IN Iphone3g {3D Graphics}
I am on the new ROM as well and the layout is extremely clean. A few things I noticed initially...
1. the battery meter is back from a % to the bars...you can tap it and it tells you the %, but it would be nice to have this on the home screen... 2. It appears we are back to the stock dialer, which is fully functional...I assume this was due to unresolved issues with the Tachi dialier 3. I don't know if it's just me, but my call volume seems stuck all the way low, and a soft reset did not fix...anyone else having this issue or an idea on how to fix it (other than the obvious hit the up arrow during a call) Other than that, it's obviously too new for me to have tested thoroughly or comment on battery life, but on the surface looks like a nice build... |
