Well at least were not all attacking tech anymore... I know he messed up but cmon.. hes human and he was just a little bit to into himself. But I liked some portions of this rom and I hope it gets better as time goes on!

Even with my past experience, I'm more than willing to give this rom a shot once the bugs are worked out since juicy is "retiring". I haven't tried mighty6 yet, but how is the battery life compared to juicy 8? And I do have one suggestion because it seems you have to download a lot of cab files in order to get the rom where it should be...would it be possible to cook as much as possible into the rom. I'm more of a basic user, and I think I speak for others when I say I'd rather not have to flash a rom and then add 50 cab files right afterwards. I think things might be a bit easier to troubleshoot if everyone started off with the same base rom with everything included already, instead of have several users who have maybe some of the cabs installed but not others. And even if everyone DID install all of the cabs, maybe they wouldn't be installed in the same way, same order, possibly causing variations. Tech if you read this, maybe you should take this into consideration. Cook a rom that's ready "out the box" with minimal cab installs and listen to the CONSTRUCTIVE criticism. Maybe then, with some tweaking...this will truly be the hyperspace next generation hasn't even been discovered technology alien nuclear rom it could be. Just my $.02.

it prolly has to do with you backup/restore program and having a ton of e-mails/text messages try doing just a contacs restore see if that helps

Yea having a lot of texts causes any rom to lag. I've experience the same thing on juicy8, mighty5 and merdinh's roms. Just delete some of your old texts and see how it is then.

A lot of the stuff you see posted as CABs is generally incorporated...some of it is extra (like WebTV) that he leaves to the user to install if they want it...but as for the actual performance related stuff, it's all in there already...this ROM is action packed...I think it will be great after ironing out a couple of kinks once the cook comes back...battery life is the best of any ROM I've used to date...don't know what's different on that front but it speaks for itself...

I did get an email from Tech and he's working on the ROM during the break.

Well since you are in contact with Tech1, could you tell him to leave out the SPB Mobile Shell? I think it would be better if people had a choice of what today screen they would like to use. Maybe his last updated version didn't have it, I'm not sure, but I am not a fan of it.

Can't you just uncheck it from start/settings/today, if that doesn't work there should be a program icon in the start menu to disable it.

hey just wondering is anyone having trouble making a call when you dial the number? i am using the Tech1 Next Generation Multimedia7 Super ROM 23004 other than that do not hit the time in the upper rt corner to try and change it to 12 hour time i locks the device up

great work tech hope to test your newest work soon i enjoy your roms
