there are a lot of cool things about this rom, i think. a lot of stuff i download anyways. even sprint tv and nav. i like the high ram with all the apps.

but, has anyone figured out how to remove the black battery meteron the taskbar. no task manager iether. that sucks. no opera either. whats really up? i can flash to somethin else, but iwanted to give it a shot. im big on the media. but the taskbar thing has gotta be fixed. just wonderin if anyone already figured it out.

i like your enthusiasm rourke and I agree that the cook could of been more professional about his attitude, but I would edit your post a bit so you won't get the ban hammer.

I have to say, I can't defend the cook's aggression in this thread, but I think at least part of it could be cultural and a little language barrier related...again, not defending attacks against members who posted in this thread, giving what they thought was constructive criticism or highlighting minor issues with the ROM...

That said, and selfishly, the second to last version of this ROM (I had issues downloading the most recent one with the larger font) posted late Fri night, is just about the best ROM I've ever had on this device...the battery life is incredible...literally 50% better than the next best ROM I've ever used, which is probably one of Mighty Mike's...the battery meter seems a bit off, but that aside, actual usage has increased dramatically...I only got 10-12 hours max with push email on previously, and have blown through that over the past couple of days with this super multimedia iphone yada yada yada ROM...

I hope the cook can come back and play nice with the users that are trying to help him develop his ROM...I think a heartfelt apology over what was hopefully miscommunication will suffice to get people involved again...

Guess we all have a week to wait to see what happens...

Tech1, love your work, but please be more supportive of the other members in this thread...they really are here to help you, not defame your ROM...if they didn't like your ROM they wouldn't even be reading or commenting in this thread...people comment when they care...

Let's try to start off this week with a bit less drama and to stay on topic. As I stated earlier in this thread, perhaps y'all can work together to iron out some of the bugs in the "rom" until Tech returns.

I had some downloading trouble yesterday for some reason, so I'm still on the previous build, which was pretty good aside from a strange font...in the newer one apparently the Clear Storage icon disappeared again and somebody listed a few other minor things, but my guess is that it's pretty solid...

As others have suggested, we should work out all of the kinks first, and then add one or two new apps at a time once everything is 100% stable...

It's a pretty sweet ROM though in general from my experience over the past week or two (I was most recently on Psyki, also pretty good though I had some lag issues, and Mighty Mike)...

I agree. If he doesn't come back with an apology for his user base, then he really doesn't deserve to have his stuff posted here. For some reason, I don't think there is as much of a language barrier as there is an age barrier. From everything I've read, nothing about this guy tells me that he is old enough to handle critiques and critcism.
