By the way, the keyboard popping up and stuff that you were describing is normal, becasue TF3D2 is loading in the background, just waiting for you to press the "Desktop" button. Mine popped up 3-4 times on the first boot, but I just let it do it's thing for a while and everything was fine.

Hope RC2 works better for you!!

All Hail the Dark Lord.

Actually, if you wait, TF3D2 will load on its own, don't need to hit Desktop. We had an issue with TouchFlo Detacher not always loading completely, so I implemented my own script that does a TFDStartup every few seconds until it sees that the Manila process is running, and then a TFDShow every few secons until it sees that Manila is the active window. Doing it in a script allows more control, also... currently, it checks if TFDetacher is supposed to load and skips the entire process if not. Later, it could be set up to say WHICH desktops to load on startup, and which one to make active. I'm all about options... if you don't use TF3D, why waste memory by loading it?

If you don't USE your phone for what it's capable of then what's the point... If you have it, use it! I personally don't see the point of a clean rom. :)

For the record, i have experienced the start menu issue (only showing today icon) on multiple roms including juicy 7 and mighty 5.

I don't like roms that are loaded with a bunch of stuff I don't want or use. this isn't to say I don'tuse my phone to its capabiliti, but rather I use it for capabilities that are useful to me with programs of my choice. this isn't as much of an issue on my pro as it is on my diamond which has far less device memory.

Ah, leads be to suspect I was right about it's being a general WM 6.5 issue, then. Happen to remember what builds these other roms were?

Part of the reason we started making some of the programs included un-instsllable. Idea was to include programs we thought would be useful, but give the user the option of removing them if they didn't agree.

you're right, ram is the same but I never said anything about ram which is program memory, I said device memory which is significantly less on the diamond like I said before.
