CDMA Elite release thread!

Check it out everyone! The long anticipated Elite Rom for CDMA!!! We apologize for the lateness of this rom. There were some serious issues in many of our personal lives that slowed us down. But the delays have caused room for some very special changes and additions that are very revolutionary. Download, check it out, Love it! We've done a lot of hard work with it to make it a very special product. For the naysayers, some of the revolutionary items are the fact that all three desktops are available... we have TF3D2, Titanium and the "normal" desktop, easily switchable by the left softkey from each.

We also included Remote Tracker, which allows you to locate your phone if lost/stolen, among other functions. The configuration is copied from the SD card on hard reset, so as long as the SD card remains in the phone it will be installed for you, even if they hard reset your phone.

We also included a few "toggle" items in the start menu, to add/remove Gyrator, VistaHide Battery Gauge, etc., to the startup items.

not to be an arse but for how long it has taken for this "elite rom" project to come to the masses, it better be bug free, fast as hell and awsome batt life. i mean cmon were about to get the TP2, cuz the TP is almost at its EOL (wasnt this started when the tp very first came out or something?). just my 2 cents.

Hope it's peppy like the best 6.1 Rom or at least better than the WM5 Rom of choice.

(*Referring to both Mighty's last two releases for 6.1 and 6.5)

If it is, this was WELL WORTH the wait....

I am looking forward to this ROM.

I love trying many ROMs as I haev found that they all have something I like but NONE are perfect as perfection is relative!

Well, either way, I look forward to the rom once it's released, I have yet to try out the new Silence/MightyMike ROM and looks like a few other guys are joining forces as well. IT would be cool to see something a bit different for a change. Didn't mean my earlier post to seem sarcastic. I do get pretty obsessive with ROM'n! In the mean time, i'm gonna probably cook a rom or 2 to try some experimentation out.
btw, anyone know how much the eeprom on the TP can handle being flashed? I'm getting a bit concerned!

The flash mem in TP can basically be flashed as much as you want. I've flashed so many devices like a mad man and never had my memory fail on me so you should be fine

Running it for a long time and the setup is new and innovative? Those are some strong words for a forum that has so many wonderful chefs. I'll quote you on that and hold my breath to see what you're talking about when it finally arrives...good luck.

In your screenshots I see your using gadgetfreak's rounded taskbar collection, is he aware of this? I do remember posting this in the first post of my taskbar thread "

This is a good question. Normally I would answer that later rev doesn't necessarily = better. But the 8xx series have proven to be the best so far in all my tests. Additionally, I have not had ONE good rom experience with 234. I am guessing that this release isnt going to be bad... but I doubt it is going to be much better than the average. And unless I see nothing but rave reviews of people who have actually used it, I am not switching off 8xx.

No need to worry about that... made the theme uninstallable, in Remove Programs. Remove it, and back to stock icons.

Nfsfan is an Elite rom builder.
It's my oppinnion, as is everyone's posts on their fav rom or rom builder.
yadda yadda yadda. I had a huge paragraph written,
and re-read it, and I decided it was best to delete it haha.
I'm in such a smart*** mood today.
All my posts are probably going to be taken in a bad light,
but if I were saying this in person you'd realize it's all in good fun.

But basically what I meant is,
you can only do so much to improve performance/speed without modding the DLLs and Drivers that control that performance.
And Nfsfan does just that.
Not saying no one else does, just stating that he does alot to the device.
I mean, look at the vogue,
thanks to his work and a few other individuals,
but more so his, we almost have TouchFlo3D to work on our vogues!
That's intense! and Pretty amazing if you ask me!

I'm still going to flash it,
and see if it's any good.
