As I said before, please stop stringing people along, and declare this project dead. I highly doubt lennysh's response back in September was even remotely truthful. This group cannot even keep up with updating their TP2 ROM, you think they are going to bother with this abysmal version?

Don't hold your breath and move on. There are a lot of great ROMs here.

i have to agree. i think either an Elite Team member or a mod should shut this bad boy down and put this thread out of its misery. It's time guys.

actually, you may be surprised at how passionate those guys are about helping us and getting things done. because of several unfortunate events, this project never really got done right. they know that. but know this, they do have really good intentions and they're not in this for any money or glory.

if you know me at all, you know i don't carry water for anyone and i tell it like it is.
even though i'm still pissed off about this project, i do understand what happened and why things are the way they are with it. and i do think that this thread should be closed. and i implore any team member to do the right thing and shut it down. and let's move on.

i'll leave it alone. but you might want to go to xda for answers, they only show up here when they're doing the fund-raiser thing.

I assure you, we are still working on this rom. We are now building the Elite roms for both TP1 and TP2 from the same kitchen.

i don't know details. only what they've told us. several of the members had personal issues and one had a personal tragedy - he lost a child. i have a child that has diabetes. i remember when he was first diagnosed in intensive care. i remember him calling me and saying "dad, guess what, i just gave myself my first shot". i had tears in my eyes. out of all the firsts in my son's life that i would be a part of, that was one i never expected to have with him.

i told you my personal story to tell you this. i have a very warm spot in my heart for that team member. and i know he's still having problems dealing with the loss of his child (as would anyone). it's easy for us to sit back and piss and moan that we're not getting what we were told we would and not bring into account that these guys have personal issues just like the rest of us. i think because they're called the "Elite Team", we tend to hold them more accoutable to things. but at the end of the day, they're all still human with human problems and situations. to be brutally honest, if i was to lose any of my children, i would be totally incapacitated for quite some time and anything that i was working on other than my family and my job would be put on hold.

i know i was one of the main piss and moaners. it just took me thinking about my own experience to give these guys a break.

clhatch - i know you guys have good intentions but please, let this go.

:( Understood, and thanks for the insight. My apologies to any offense or hurt my statements may have caused. And I agree that they should still close this tread and open a new one when they are ready to release a ROM based on their TP2 kitchen. Looking forward to it!
