if you haven't even installed it yet, how do you know it's a great rom? so far, it's problematic and lacking.

i still haven't seen any postings as to whether or not the vidoes will play on anyone else's. it sure as heck won't on mine and it's annoying. i think Starrom has a similar problem. there is just something wrong.

also. and i repeat, there is something wrong with the install of this. i just added a program the phone didn't like, then did a hard reset, and now half of my damn programs are gone again (i would think because customizations don't go all the way through). i mean WTF??? this is NOT right guys. and yes, i'm extremely annoyed.

I tried a mp4 and it froze the first time, but play perfect the second. I also tried u-tube and no problems. So far I am having less problems than I have with the other 5 roms I loaded up. I am just wondering why I have a picture of the electrical plug on time when it is running on the battery?

Unfortunately I'm having several issue with this ROM. I think it has potential given the many today screen options and configuration utilities. I also like the very fast QTV video performance. Unfortunately I getting some lock-ups and inconsistent start menu behavior. Even with soft resets, sometimes the start menu will appear with only the Today icon in it. Sometimes I cannot access the start menu at all. Other times the start menu is frozen with some of the icons and I can't selct anything, only exit it. Really, many issues are randomly occurring. I hard reset the device immediately after flashing the rom so it's nothing do to with that.

For now I'll have to flash back to another ROM, but I look forward to the next release.

Thank you for your efforts. I'm sure it's not easy incorporating so many customizations and options into the ROM.

Too buggy. Flashed back to Groove. Bad news, Elite is still on the boot up screen, even though I am running a different Rom.
That will be bad for me if I have to return unit.

Just reflash your stock rom first before going to Groove and it will go away

happend to me also & i didnt get a response, but just reset it & im not sure if something didnt install or not but i haven had any problem so far

wow whats up with all these problems in this rom...sounds like a "Fail Rom" to me....glad I didn't jump the gun with all the hype...

Hmmm, now the ROM is running very well for me. Strange. Earlier I was about to flash to another ROM because of start menu issues. Now I can't reproduce the issue. ROM is running fast and I have it set up for the 2nd today screen which can show plug-ins. I'll keep running it for now as I love the video playback speed and today screen options. At this moment the only thing I don't like is the Touchflo 3.0 which cancels out the 6.5 kinetic scrolling.

Regarding the high memory consumption, I wonder if this ROM is configured to use a dynamic page pool. The memory consumption get high but then stablilizes and continues to run quite fast.
