My battery life is kind of short when I'm at work...I don't get full reception but it will last like literally 5-6 hours with no phone calls and a couple of texts...When going to NYC yesterday my phone only lasted about 7 hours...So idk why I'm getting bad battery life..

Hey guys, how do I make the flash work for the camera? Also, the Zoom is really slow which is probably a result of the phone and not ROM.

Thanks in advance!

Re: [ROM] [KITCHEN] [06.25.09] *Silence & MightyMike* Production

I've ran into 2 strange glitches. just wondering if anyone has the same problem.

when I woke up 2 days ago, I looked at my phone, and it was telling me it was 12:35 am on the front screen. yet when I went into any of the menues, the clock along the top of the phone had the correct time. if I went back to the home screen, that clock was still off. I fixed this with a soft reset (I just thought it wa strange, how does it keep 2 different system times?)

today I noticed I wasn't getting any emails form my exchage server. after a few tests, I checked the schedule and it had somehow changed itself to "manual" syn (for both peek and off peak times) I switched it back to "as items arrive" and fixed the issue, I just thought this was odd as well. anyone have this happen before?

I still have keyboard lag, I don't think this will ever get fixed (in any rom) just throwing it out there, lol

besides this,I still love this rom, I can't wait to see what else you guys come up with.

the zoom is slow because of the camera drivers/software. basically, they suck!

as for the light you tap on the photo screen, and then options will come up. you'll see in the top left "flash light." hit it and your flash is on!

now, if you want to use it as a flash light, get uTorch! its pretty awesome. check out the ppc repository in my sig to find it's authors site and download it's latest version!

That is what I thought but when I hit Flash Light it comes on like with uTorch! and doesn't act like a flash when taking a picture.

Thanks, though!

well, it does turn on... but when you take the picture the high beam will turn on. Yah we don't know why...

But that is normal operation. I just took pictures with flash 2 nights ago with this rom and it worked as all other stock/custom roms do with flash... light is on and gets brighter when shutter is activated.

Re: [ROM] [KITCHEN] [06.25.09] *Silence & MightyMike* Production

Couple questions...

Anyone know how to stop the phone from asking for my data connection user name/password every time after a soft reset?

Also, if I get a text message and don't check it before the screen goes back to sleep, the screen then won't wake back up. I have to do a soft reset.

UPDATE: I got a txt, read it, clicked OK, and it still wouldn't wake up after the screen went off. Anyone else having issues with the phone not waking back up?
