quick question.
anyone having this issue where you have no new email yet the slider is showing 1 new mail?
or if you have 1 new e-mail the slider shows 2 new mails?
here's a screenie to help illustrate my issue.

i noticed this couple of days ago after i flashed to silnece/mike rom.

edit: here's a list of programs i installed on the rom and since then i notcied the aforementioned problem

i remember it ws a sample email from outlook
click on inbox inside of poutlook and chook outlook from whatever ur using (like hotmail for me)

i am sorry. i am not familiar with the word chook. its slang for what?
is that something i have to do on my phone or on my pc?

Update on my ics and bt pan problem and my mac. I tried a bunch of roms yesterday and only 2 work out of the box, silence9 and sss. One thing I have noticed is under HKLM/comm/btpan1/parm/tcpip/enable dchp is set to 0 not 1. There are a bunch of entries also that I do not understand, but silence9 and sss are the same.

when u open your email, goto inbox, u might have created another account, or it might be for ex.. gmail, or outlook, one is probably just a welcome email text..
