How To unlock and flash with Video Walk Through!

Hi, I have a sprint Htc touch pro that I'm trying to flash over to cricket. As far as I know its unlocked. Everytime I get ready to install the rom it goes to 0% on both the pc and phone then an error messages comes up. Any idea on what I may be doing wrong? Also the phone is brand new from sprint.
