Did you task 29 between flashing your roms? If not this could be your issue. I always task29 between flashing and never have any problems.

When sliding up the orientation changes and the backlight comes on for the keys as it should, but none of the keys work. Works in all of the other roms ive used however.

My slide out physical keyboard has been broken for over a year, I decided to wait things out for a better phone option and adapt to the virtual keyboard for now. Its a pain but still keeps the phone useful enough for me.

I expected to find the MaxSense version in the third download link, but I only see the 2.1 version. Is the MaxSense version still available?

Ive never heard of Task 29. But I now see how it could be useful. Googled and downloaded it. Anything special I need to do before/during/after I run it? Or do I just re-load this rom and hope its all turn key?

Nope nothing special. Just run the task 29 and then go back into bootloader then flash the rom again, that's it. I think this should cure all of your problems.

I tried searching for how to enable MMS but all the search function does is tell me that there is reference to MMS in all 2000 pages of this thread. Any one offer a hint? I remember there was once a thread a year ago about how to enable it with US Cellular (my carrier) but I couldn't find that one either.

Any ideas? I cannot send or receive MMS. Thanks!

you need to figure out what the settings are for us cellular are. then go to all messages, menu, mms options, servers, new and enter the settings in there. also make sure your epst settings are correct if you have 3g icon and can surf the net you should be ok with the epst settings. if not search baf msl grabber it will tell you the code and let you enter the epst settings.

these might be the settings

server address http://mmsc1.uscc.net/mmsc/MMS
MMS Port: 80

Thanks for the server and port, but what would the gateway be? Also how does it connect under "Connect via"? I know there was a walkthrough for USCC but I cant find it or if it still applies to current Energy roms.

just input those 2 settings and the connect through is your internet connection, is that setup? start menu, settings, connections. i know with cricket ryan mogul made some .cabs that sets mms and internet up for cricket users. maybe thwere is a us cellelar .cab

i know its not a tp2 but it shold be the same

Any tips with this ROM and Sprint MMS? I can receive but cant send. Once I was able to send and a day later it came right back to me.
Oh and I see over on the xda-developers forum the Feb. 12th release for GMS is out, any chance for a CDMA?
