Just wanting to mention this since it clearly got forgotton. Just wanting to switch back to using a cookie 1.8.5, since 2.0 uses too much battery for me, almost dead within a day of little usage. 1.8.5 never did that. Well, not that bad at least. And since early yesterday (last time uploading finished it seems.) "Energy" style Cookie 2.0 ROM's are even gone.

I'm still using Sept 8th cookie 21xxx, overclocked, and battery life has been pretty good. Usually less than 10% drain overnight.

thanks for the tips, 1.85 seems to have helped my battery problem so I'll stick with it for a while.

I was wondering about the same thing. I wanted to try out the latest version of the regular energy ROM but its no where to be found right now for some unknown reason. Not complaining, just wanted to share my same observation. These ROMS are way cool!!!

1st - Cookie, 2nd - Standard, 3rd - Standard2.1

Yesterday I installed GTX rom (21681) first time, I was hopping automatic registry change for internet tethering, but when I connect today it is trying to connect through Phone as modem and 'Sprint' option is not avilable. Do I still need to change in registry to make this work?

I have only data plan and don't have phone as modem plan.

Can anyone please help?

I was wondering how the text messaging time stamp works. It seems that it gets the date and time from the phone clock itself and not down from the server or a different source. If I turn my phone off for a while, receive text messages while it is powered off, and then turn it back on at a later time it stamps all text messages received while turned off as the time when I just turned the phone on at that moment even though that is not when I actually received the text messages. I cannot remember having problems with this when I used the stock ROM a long time ago, but I do remember a huge time stamp bug a while back and getting the current time/date from the phone's clock was the work around solution for the time. Is there any possibility that SMS messages can be stamped with the proper time/date without having to rely on the phone's clock or is this just not possible? Is there any time stamp information that is silently transmitted with each text message, depending on your service provider of course, and then can that information be used to properly mark each incoming text message with the correct time/date without using the phone's clock?
I am using a Sprint HTC Touch Pro with Energy.HERMAN.21681.Sense2.5.Cookie.2.0.0.Oct.09.
