Has anyone compared the Sept 27th roms with 21679 to the Sept 8th roms with 21911?

I am really loving the performance from the spet. 8th 21911 cookie rom, hate to screw with such a beautiful thing.

This has been mentioned several times in this thread, but install a cab file and then soft reset your phone and the KB should work.

So i dont actually have this phone and am here for a friend... but isnt this phone supposed to be the RAPH not the HERM... or i could be wrong

Raphael is the GSM version, Herman is the CDMA. I think most chefs just call it the CDMA Raphael though.

So I just updated from build 24634 Dinik Glass Sep.9th release to build 21679 Cookie Sep.27th release and I can't seem to get the wether tab to find and display my location... any ideas?

Oh and by the way, Thank you soooo much for making such an amazing product! Love it.

Apparently, after waiting the whole day, it resolved itself and now works fine. (c;

However, the quick links only have one row at the bottom of the screens they're on and cannot be pulled up or adjusted that I can tell. Any ideas on this? When you go to edit the quick links it shows a full page of links, but when yor done editing, all but one row is off the bottom of the screen.

i was using a previous version of your rom Energy.HERMAN.21895.Sense2.1.Mar.19 and never felt the need to update until I wanted to try something new....

I flashed a different rom - swinnROM 100913.23138 - Sprint just now and keyboard works again as it does with the march version of your rom

By the way: for the other folks having trouble with wifirouter going out on standby - I got WMWiFirouter working with the newest version (had trouble at first since my old trial had expired).

It seems to work fine, even with the phone on standby. So...there's a fix of sorts.

Hey, several times right after a flash the hardware keyboard does not work. However, after using the soft keyboard for something, anything, and SR mine has worked EVERY TIME. WITHOUT FAIL. Try following some advice from people in this thread that are TRYING to help YOU, and from the chef who does this for FREE for us. So try throwing him a bone instead of ripping a world class ROM that works great. So far the 216XX Cookie 2.0 ROM is flawless and wicked fast.

Actually, this rom is very customizable with Cookie 2.0. I spent a few hours tinkering with it last night. You have to go in to the CHT editor and go to pages and levels and play with the settings in the home swipe levels to get the screen levels to change.

After changing your available levels, you can now go to CHT editor/quick links/ and on the top you will find quicklink layout. Here you will be able to adjust your column and row count for the quicklinks. I have mine set up with three rows and four columns in portrait mode.

Now you can add more pages (how many pages you swipe left and right) by going in the CHT editor again and go to pages and levels and on top you will find widget pages-portrait, just change the setting to how many pages you want.

As far as having two rows of quicklinks on the home page, Hit menu/edit home layout/level one-main home/ advanced here you will find the quick links settings, change it to two row and you are good to go.

After playing with the settings, if you do not see any changes, do a soft reset and that should enable all of your changes.

Thank you NRG for another great rom. We all appreciate your hard work.

This is something I feel gets dismissed from time to time because of the (well documented) ribbon cable issues with the device but I do notice that certain ROMs screw with the keyboard. For the most part, I have been mixing and matching with my roms (i know task 29 like the back of my hand now) to see which ones don't have keyboard issues. I haven't tried these ROM's yet, (give me 1.5 hours) but I'm going for Dinik next time out. I'll let you know what I come up with.
