I love using this rom but Ive run into a hiccup. After flashing I used myphone/active sync to get my contacts and such restored however when I look at my sms messages from various people it only shows there responses and no longer shows up as a conversation format where I can see both my and the other persons text on the same screen. Anyone run into this and knows how to fix it?

I think the latest is a very fast rom. However the issue still remains for Cricket users. After installing the MMS cab i can send pictures fine. While trying to receive i get the 1X icon then nothing. I've tried 4 of the roms and all produce the same result.

Anyone got any suggestions other than trying Ryan Mugal's cab? As i doesn't seem to work inbound.

Pretty common hardware problem on this phone. Sometimes if you press really hard on the keyboard it will work for a while. Earlier in the thread there was a link posted to a guide on how to disassemble the phone and fix the issue. If you're under warranty though....probably not a good idea to do that on your own.

I've gotten this when I try to have it sync my SMS back to the phone. In MyPhone just archive all the messages. It will leave them online, but remove them from your phone. You shouldn't have that problem again.

downloaded/flashed the energy cookie... just have a few questions for anyone that can answer...
I have to get my sprint navi..football and tv.. can i go to sprint application page and download them; it's not going to affect this rom right??

is this rom updated with the most recent fixes or am i going to have to go find the fixes myself (ie..DCD sprint carrier cab)?

1 - I'd expect not, if they're just apps.

2 - Allow a lot more than a few hours before getting impatient for a reply.

I just copy PIM.VOL from my root to SD card then back to the phone when I flash it. As long as you don't switch versions where it's not compatible with your original PIM.VOL you're good to go. If it doesn't work, then you can use PIMBackup and when you have a working version just copy that one over and you can keep using that version.

You need a program like Total Commander to copy it back to the phone and do a quick reboot before the phone updates the PIM.VOL do not run any program that access the contacts.

I flashed to the Aug 12 21911 ROM Sense/Cookie (from the previous version) and am having problems with the GPS now. HTC_GPS_Tool shows just 1 or 2 weak (red) satellites. Previously I got a little better and that. Anyone else notice a diff in GPS reception?
