Yes, it should be unlocked already, even if it wasn't, you can unlock it for free and it ain't difficult.

And yes, you can flash over that one. Pull battery out, put it back on, then press and hold both down volume and power button until you get a rainbow screen, then run the ROM flashing utility.

MaxSense problem - When I try and add people to the contacts quicklinks, it freezes my phone. When I reboot, the contact is added, however the phone runs incredibly slow. This happens over and over as I add new contacts. but the phone keeps getting slower and slower.

Any ideas? Seems to only happen with MaxSense

Don't know, not using MaxSense, but you should search it's thread on XDA to see if others have reported the same issue. If not, Task 29 & reflash.

Hello all. I am a new user trying to figure this out. I have successfully flashed to the latest build of "Energy".

I am an Alltel/Verizon, was converted in the merger. I am not able to send or receive MMS. I have tried carrier provisioning as listed in some of the threads for Verizon. This does not work.

Is there something I'm missing.

Anybody have the solution for my problem?

I am running MaxSense without any issues at all, definitely not the one you are experiencing.

I too am alltel bought by verizon, this is what I use, just extract it and do each of the 4 steps.

Any word on when the new build is being posted... ive been running on a version since may, and im ready to update but is aug 8 version out, but all i see is july 27th... dont wanna download and upgrade just to do it again in a couple of days... but im in desperate need of a fresh start.

what versions are you all runing, NRGZ does so much great work, i wish I could use them all... any preferences and why? Ive still yet to try max sense...lol
