guys please help, I have a dialer problem and I desperately need an answer. I'm using the June 5th, 23569 non-cookie rom and I'm having a major issue when responding to calls.

Everytime I receive a call, as soon move the slider left for answer or right for hang-up, the phone's volume gets adjusted (moves 1 position louder/upwards depending where it is). This is REALLY anoying as my phone beeps/rings in the office when I SWEAR i set it to silent like a million times. hehe.

Any cabs out there that fix this?

I haven't had any of those issues. I am not sure how to fix them either sorry.

ROM works great for me, just need something to turn the incall volume up a bit. The volume key works fine, just when its all the way up it still is a little quite for me.

I too have had answering issues after "slide to answer" was added a long time ago.. So what I have done to get around the issue is to just push the dang answer button in the very bottom left of the phone.. I know sometimes easy things can be over looked and everyone wants to touch everything now.. lol.. Honestly I wish the whole slide to answer crap could just be left out.. But if NRG wants it in the ROM, I'll still flash it to my phone.. There is a lot of new stuff in the latest 23xxx cookie release 06.06.10 that I have yet to find but so far only one hipcup/crash..

the phone refuses to answer regardless of pressing the answer key or slide2answer...

Macaroo, I would have to say its time to dance around a little bit.. By that I mean flash dance.. Either that or your installing some cab that is screwing with it.. I've had the issue of "sliding" but not pushing to answer.. That seems to work everytime as its a soft key programing.. Also I'm using the 23xxx latest cookie rom, maybe your on a different one, IDK..

Same problem with new sms on Energy.HERMAN.21905.Sene2.5. max manilla after Task29 and flash, then even a hard reset.... Nothing seems to wake up a new message. Only way to text is through reply or opening contact to start new message. Any ideas?

hey, I just figured out how to stop the problem with the volume changing automatically when using slide2answer incase anyone else is having the same issue I was.

open the dialer, click the little paper icon (settings menu), click OPTIONS, then scroll all the way down and you will see a "Vibrate when a call is connected option".

As soon as I disabled this, I have not had a problem yet.

I have used this rom for a long time and I am sad to say I finally have to give up this ROM. Every update has made this rom more buggy. It has gotten so bad lately that I cant even send a text message, I click new and it just does...nothing.
