Ok, i think i ran into problem like that before. I think what i did was, soft reset your phone, then right after it loads run the removal cab. I think that should do it. If not, let me know, i'll dig into my memory bank to try to remember.....

It's annoying especially with (800) number not been recognized as a good number any more. I haven't found any fix so far.

Has there every been a fix mentioned for this? I have a hell of a time trying to dial long distance from contacts, I need to remember the number and dial it manually with the 1- in order to get the call to work.

oh I don't have a problem pairing up the bluetooth on my phone to my car...I just want to change the device name that shows up in my car when I connect to my phone...I just want it to display a custom text instead of Energy Rom...

You can also install the free MSN Weather Widget from Windows Mobile Marketplace. Again, not integrated, and I don't think it's GPS aware, but it does give good detail.

For those still concerned about virus/trojan alerts for their ROM downloads, it finally popped up in Avira so I submitted it as a suspected false positive. Avira agreed & removed the Hermann_CustomRUU.exe file from their detections. If you're concerned about your AV, please do the same. In my experience, some AV vendors will initially just respond with "yes, it is a detection" without actually analyzing the file. You'll have to push them again to actually do any real analysis.
