any one having the issue to where if it fails to send a txt message, it will cont. to send it duplicate times every hour

Actually SMS, and Sprint Picture Mail for the MMS......I used the 2 cabs posted the wm, then the picture mail... slow but operational.

Sorry to bother but what EXACT cabs did you install to get it all working?

Ok... FINALLY got MMS working on 21891 Sense 2.1! =D> It was VERY fast and integrated into the Manila messaging. It did not appear that going online to Sprint Picture Mail was necessary.

From a new flash, I installed the Remove Picture Mail Arcsoft cab, soft reset, then installed the Sprint Arcsoft cab, soft reset and BAM!

According to the Arcsoft app, version number is 5.0.82.79.

Flashing 2.5 now to see if it works.

edit: no luck on 2.5.

That's always been the standard process for installing mms on EnergyRom. But with the new 2.5 roms, mms doesn't work unless you use the zenyee htc messaging disable app. But the problem is that when you use zenyee, the new text notification doesn't disappear after you read your messages.

ok, then i discovered something everyone already knew, except that mms must have worked out of the box for me on the last few builds since I didn't already have those cabs downloaded anywhere and weren't on my SD card.

back to 2.1 until 2.5 gets fixed...

It ONLY happens when it's a NEW message, if I go into a conversation without a new message it goes to the bottom like it should...

I flashed from the feb 6th version, WITHOUT going stock first, but i did to a hard reset... Maybe going back to stock first might fix it?

Just wondering if anyone else is having a problem like this, I DO use S2U2 2.30, with lock notifications and all that on... sooo maybe that's why?

Probably a stupid question, is the new messaging only on Sense 2.5? I didn't like it and am now downloading 2.1 after the HTC Sense part refused to start.

it appears that way, with the little paperclip in the lower right corner. I've seen other 2.5 roms without that messaging though, so I'm not entirely sure.

Mine didn't work quite flawlessly in landscape mode, although I did like the interface!

I think it needs work anyway. As someone else mentioned, it's difficult to navigate, no easy way to back out to Sense, etc. I'll wait. Besides, the Android on TP thread is getting exciting!
