I've just ran into one problem so far...I'm using 23518 Standard M2.5...When I install my Slingplayer Mobile, it installs without errors but the buttons at the bottom of the application seem to be "overlapping" each other. I can't get to a few of the buttons (crucial buttons such as "Remote Control") to control my Slingbox.

I was using 21885 25.Dec.2009 StandardM2.5 before this latest rom and didn't have the problem. I was able to see and use the buttons at the bottom.

Anyone have any ideas? I'm using the latest Slingplayer Mobile cab install located at SlingMedia's mobile site (sorry, can't post links until I have 10 posts)

It's the same CAB as I used for the Dec.25 rom.
Try using the 21889 version. The 23518 has a larger bottom taskbar which could be causing your issue.

Didn't even think about that! Makes total sense...I may try 21889 to see if that was the cause but I actually like the larger start button at the bottom. I may just tough it out and use the remote control commands in SlingPlayer that are deep in the menu system (ugh).

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll post the results if I decide to try 21889.

No problem. Im pretty sure thats the problem. There's two other programs that have issues because of the larger bottom taskbar on the 6.5.x builds that i noticed. Total commander and pocket rar but there's work arounds for them.

I wonder if I could try one of those for Sling...Are the workarounds generic or is there something you have to do specifically inside those programs?

Something you do specifically. Total commander, you just have to do some menu digging and pocket rar, you have to press the hard key back button to get pass the association screen when you first open the program.

That fix worked for me (including fixing texts not showing up in S2U2.) Did you soft reset after installing the .cab?

Another potential fix to try is given here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...postcount=3242 although, that is actually just the same fix (without the HTC messaging fix)

You're saying you do get the bubble for a new text in Sense, but don't get one in S2U2?

For me the two were connected (i.e. I was missing both the text bubble and the notification in S2U2) Fixing the Sense UI bubble fixed S2U2 for me.
