I am unable to get HTC Sense running on the latest build - 1/20 - 23518 with MaxManila. Clicking on 'Tap here to launch HTC Sense' attempts to load it, but eventually comes back to an empty Today screen with the same 'Tap..' link on top. Can anyone else confirm this behavior?

it might be because the newest sense 2.5 is not cooked in, but the new max 2.8 is...?

Not sure why Sense is not loading. Does this latest ROM contain Manila v2.5.1921xxx or v2.5.1922xxx? I am downloading the build from the 18th, and will minimally install MaxManila 2.7 on top.

Yea thats what i'll go back to... the 20th rom still has 1921xxx... tried installing 2.7 on the new rom but still didnt work...

its because max 2.8 is not working correctly for our VGA devices. It is almost there, but not quite. not sure why NRG cooked it into our ROMS. I tried installing it on a different ROM the day 2.8 was released and got caught in the same launch loop you describe.
