Anybody having problems typing a text with the keyboard? Or are we suppose to only use the touch screen for messaging?

I've honestly never come across anyone reporting this kind of thing, so I figured I'd recommend the flashdance in case the corruption came from a bad flash - I know more about how storage card encryption can cause some problems, but I don't know exactly why this ROM would cause issues over another, unless the base builds are different. I'm not familiar with Juicy's ROM...what version of manila is it, and what build of windows mobile?

In the meantime, maybe someone else can chime in. If I think of anything I'll PM you. ...feel free to let me know if you work it out as well, I'm def curious.

EDIT: I looked at the Juicy thread...it's an older build, so I'm sure that has something to do with the conflict. On the first post in this thread, you'll see a link to some of NRGs older ROMs. If you're curious to figure this out, you might flash one if his older ROMs with the same build numbers...or maybe one of the new 2.1 Manila ROMs to see if that helps/fixes the problem. It's possible it worked on Juicy's bcause it was Manila 2.1. Hope it works out.

What build are you running? DId you happen to install anything that would modify Sense without first disabling Sense? Like a new clock or the Max Manila Mod? Failure to disable Sense when you install cabs like that can lead to the problem you're describing where Sense will loop on and off. You may need/want to reflash.

If you're replying to a threaded conversation, I think the text input box isn't accessible if you slide the keyboard out [this is due to the lack of landscape support in the port of the 2.1 Manila Text App]. ...is that what you mean? Or are the actual buttons not functioning properly? In the latter case, try installing another onscreen keyboard - there are versions of EZInput attached to this threads links.

I noticed my "Home" button wasn't working properly with Sense enabled - I installed another version of EZInput to fix it. <---in case anyone else runs into this.

build 21877 02.dec manila 2.5....this happened right after the phone reset after customizations. nothing i could do from getting it to fix itself.

Same w/ my vzw gimped pro. I had the same problem w/ 21877 nov27, you got it to boot on a verizon phone?
