Reading over there, it just seemed that most if not all of the folks having issues weren't using a Native Kernel.
Did you manually turn the screen off? I didn't and it acted normal all throughout out the night. The screen did stay on but no BSOD for me.

I can confirm that texting from titanium in 11-21 28002 does not leave the messaging center but will when changed over to Sense. Additionally texting from Sense worked fine. After running the disable htc message cab testing did work from the titanium side as well. I'm using Vernonlbrowns disable the turn off if not used backlight suggestion to prevent BSOD's and so far so good. Everything else is fine at this point.

Has anyone resolved the issue of only being able to select email addresses from the contacts list when sending a text message? I saw a cab posted to resolve the issue, but subsequent posts indicated that it didn't work. This is the one outstanding issue on an otherwise great rom. Good stuff NRG.

Yep, turned it off manually.
I really don't think there is anything we can do here guys. It's just not going to be a user fix, I'm afraid. Best we can do is to install Lumos, turn off the auto off features and turn our devices off manually while on battery power. Maybe not turning it off while charging at night.

I had always thought that NOT using the native kernel during cooking would give the results we saw on the previous builds that were pulled because they wouldn't boot. But in reading over at xda it seems that maybe some chefs fool the ROM into booting on a non native kernel due to kitchen setup. I am not real sure. Never tried it. I always used the native kernel for cooking 6.5 ROMS.
XDA is down right now so I can't check for updates.

Yeah, that's an HTC contact picker issue. You have to click "menu" then "add recipient" and all contacts will be available.

Damn dependencies...

I do agree and think it is a backlight issue and I didn't manually turn my screen off or let it do it automatically and my BSOD (Black Screen Of Doom) stopped. I'm thinking and I may be wrong but there could be a module or a file missing that is associated with the turn off of the screen that is causing this. Just my guess!!
Winmo knows I'm a rebel.

Yea, I think this issue is happening while the device sleeps. My phone is tethered to a charger and on all day...at night, I shut the screen down when I go to sleep. The past week the device wasn't waking up for my alarm...this is how i realized it was an issue. This weekend, when I'm connected to a charger less, I noticed several times when I'd check teh time on the sleeping device and it wouldn't wake.

...and AHUSKINS, good to know. I need to read up on that thread. So, is this a 28xxx thing?

Re: |H|ROM|6.5.3|WWE| ** EnergyROM 'Photon' (28002/21869) |Nov21| Sense 2.1 and 2.5

So this is what ive found. I flashed the 28002 rom last night round 12;00am and set my alrm for the morning. i uncheced the "turn light off" and "adjust backlight settings" before i went to sleep. i manually shut off my screen before passing out. to my amazement my alarms did go off and thus showing that by manually controlling ur backlight it stops the issue. for me atleast. im still going strong 10 hrs later. just waiting for thath dbs.

Not according to the thread. Some started experiencing it on 23081 I believe. It really seems to be an issue of NOT using the native kernel. Here is the thread if you want to read up on it. I don't know if you are familiar with "kitchen speak", if not, some of it may not make sense. But you'll get the idea and if I know you, you are always in for a little enlightenment.

So, up and get to reading. Well, when xda is back up.

Thanks, but the "add recipient" screen is even worse - I don't see ANY contacts.

BSOD-glad I have so much "power", glad you learned your "lesson" vernon LOL
It's back for me this AM too. Power settings adjusted, I did turn off the screen manually, not sure how functional having screen on 24/7 is for me.
tkedch-what you call "lack of a life", I call multi-tasking (at least thats what I tell myself to feel better) thanks for the compliment at the end of your post.
