I have general question I am using energyrom 8/6 just useing as titanium and removed he taich dialer love that the buletooth now shows that it is on but 2 things remain that is the stylus to wake up and if anyone has this other problem of car charges not working to recharge my phone in the car I have one from my gps that works and the usb cable to an adaprt from the phone works but not a plain car charger

did you read the post?

you have to copy the 2330fc3c_manila file somewhere and take off the read only flag on the file, then copy it back to the windows directory and go from there. click on the post and follow the directions... The step by step instructions are there if you went a link deeper to the XDA post.

of coarse you cant modify the database, the file is marked READ ONLY!

You need to reflash to stock first...then back to energy, simply reflashing might not clear up the problem. This happened to me once and followed me to other ROMS. I'm not sure what the issue is, but flashing back to stock then back to energy [with hard resets in between each step] works.

WEATHER PEOPLE!
I'm attaching a manila file for the weather database, so you dont have to extract it from your device...should be easier. There are instructions in the guide in my sig for how to edit the manila and get weather workinng with your city. You just need to copy the manila to your PC...then open it with sqadmin on your PC...edit it accroding to the guide...then just back out of sqadmin. It will save your changes on the fly. Then copy the manila from your PC to the windows directory on your device...turn off touchflo before you do. It should prompt you to overwirte the file...do it. Use total commmander or resco explorer.

I have 8/6 working near perfect aside from known issues with 2.1. You dudes defintely want to read up over at xda about 2.1, it will clear up a lot of the questions being asked.

OK, apparently the entire READ ONLY flags are throwing everyone for a bigger loop than I thought they would. So here. This cab will install the program and the file will have the correct flags so you can edit your weather. If it works click thanks if not let me know what it does.



I installed this cab on my Touch Pro after i created it and it works PERFECTLY.

Go to
START > Weather Database Editor

then click
EDIT > Cities...

then
EDIT > ADD CITY

then fill out the correct information for your City and State etc
The Accuweather code for people in the US is just your zip code.

Hit OK

Go to your weather tab on your manilla and select that city and its all set.

I HOPE this clears it all up
