I went back to MightyRom, this ROM is beautiful but has too many quirks in it. It seems like the ROMS run fine for a day or two than it just falls apart for some reason. NRGZ28, can you please try to make a stripped down ROM? Just make a ROM with the same look as the others but put in only the standard MS stuff in there. Much appreciated.

Not sure what you mean by "falls apart" .. I run these ROMs with no problems. As "for stripped down ROM" NRG has already said he will be cooking a business geared ROM but there is not ETA on that yet.

As far as going to another ROM... I thought the M and J words were banned from this thread?? LMAO!

I have using 073009_RD and can add contacts with any problem through manila. I went to People tab < All People and then I tried by clicking "New" at the top of the list and also Menu < New Contact. Worked both ways, no problem.

Yes, this holds true.

The biggest problem however is you can't save number from the dialer. So if someone calls me, I can't just select the number after the call and save it. And I hate using the rhodium contact cards.

Since running 7/28 & 7/29 roms I have had customers that are telling me they are not getting my texts. One is on Boost and the other is on Verizon. While people on Sprint (also my carrier) and MetroPCS are receiving them. Anyone else having similar problems?

yep can't add contacts through dialer.... otherwise an excellent rom. Probably the best one so far.

Dudes with the "can't add contacts" issue. Do this for me...[TouchFlo users]

Go to the Contacts Tab - Hit the All People softkey - Press "New" at the top of the Contact list to open a new contact card...fill it out - press "Done".

Does that add a new contact for you?

You should also be able to add a missed call to an existing contact. From the dialer, highlight your missed call - "menu" softkey - "save to contacts" - select an existing contact.

What you cannot seem to do is save a missed call from an unknown contact from the dialer. So...here's a workaround:

Your friend Joe calls you from a new number. Joe is also not in your address book.
1. Go to the People Tab
2. Select "All People" softkey
3.Select "New" to add new contact.
4. Fill out Joe's contact card and save it.
5.Press the phone button to access the dialer
6. Highlighth Joe's phone number - hit the "menu" softkey
7.Select save to contacts
8.Find Joe in your address book and add him up.

Seems like a long walk, but it's not THAT bad. ...and, it works!

Where did you find the 073009_RD copy?

Dude I don't even think touchflo is in this rom. If it is lemmie know how to start it.
