I have tried various EnergyROMS for the CDMA Touch Pro on Bell. Every now and then they freeze up while flipping through pages on the Sense UI, which is no big deal, that happens once in a while. When you do a reset it reboots as if it was a freshly loaded rom and you get the 'wait while prepare to run the first time' etc message. If you do a reset when the phone is running normally it reboots as it should without problems... but whenever it freezes/crashes a reboot puts it back to like it is being run for the first time.

Any suggestions???

read the sticky's in the CDMA TP forum... there you will find the instructions and the HardSPL you need to unlock and flash your device.

sounds like classic symptoms of not flashdancing. (HR - Stock - HR - CustomROM - HR) I'd be willing to bet $100 this fixes your problem, unless you have hardware issues, but the mythical flashdance fixes your types of problems 99% of the time...

if the chef pulled them, you can't get them unless someone mirrored them or will upload their package for you.

yep a lot of the problems with many programs is they also store info an like reg settings..when you change the rom and its a different build sometimes the build is quite different internally and thats where the bugs come from. i use PIM backup and never have a problem as long as you ONLY backup contacts and appointments (which is the calendar). give it a try, it may suit your needs. like i say ive used it since i first got a vogue and its been flawless

The one I will like the best is the one that will "just work" - they are all flashier, etc...than stock, but all of these custom ROMs also seem to have various bugs. I just want one to work - even if it sacrifices some of the bling-bling.

Is there a fix for the ## codes? I bought my TP off a friend with the Energy ROM. I could not manually ESN swap this device. I had to flash back to the stock Sprint ROM and then reprovision, then back to the Energy ROM. ##786# and other codes do not work.

Is there a cab program for this?
