Htc Messaging is disable/doesn't work in manila, you'll have to go through 'start menu' -> 'internet' -> 'messaging' -> SMS/MMS

you can setup a quick link to it but it might be better for you if you switch to the manila 2.5.1921xxx version... (non beta)

have you had that work? I couldnt get sms to work at all in the beta build. i went to ms contacts, went to send message, and was able to type one, but even that would not send...

I wasn't on the beta rom for long, two hours maybe... but was able to sens txt via ms messaging... no mms though...

i just got a whole black screen in typing area and couldnt type a single word, wish i could keep this beta 'cause i love the landscape view, it's whole lot better though

"Corporate" you can't even spell correctly.. When you graduate from elementary school and grow up maybe you will come to respect people for their efforts and hard work regardless if it benefits you or not. Its not "all about you" nor "I'. Life's to short and I have better things to do than argue with someone I don't know about a software for a phone over the internet. It's just rediculous to get upset over something so silly... Anyway popasmurfn25 I hope you have a wonderful day and are able to find more positive things in your life to inject your energy into.. Take care.

I can't get SMS to work properly since the Dec 25th version. Always get a "network not responding" error, then duplicate texts.

"too" It should be: Life's too short. If you are going to give someone a hard time about their elementary grammar then check your's first. Remember, every person is entitled to their opinion whether everyone agrees or not.

I'm currently using the Beta 21891 and I haven't experienced any true problems other than the SMS so I used the zenyee disable htc messaging. That worked like a charm. Now the only thing i need is background for all tabs cab. On previous builds I was able to use num5kull's but for some reason on this build, it causes weird results (i.e. a black square in the home screen clock and when you scroll up to get your quick links the clock doesn't go away). If anyone has a .cab that they think will work please post. Thanks
