if you decide to use the landscape using registry editor go to hkey_current_user/software/htc/manila and scroll down to lsk_send_msg double click and change value from 1 to 0 this would put the send message icon in the box to be able to send messages youu can do this if you want to change bhe left bottom to (back) and have the (send )botton inside the box where the text goes

I am on the 28014 Standard ROM (Dec 17 - Manila 2.1)

On the Internet Tab, how can I change the default 'Opera' link to open Opera 10 Beta 2. I have tried uninstalling Opera 9.7 which the ROM came with, and then installing Opera 10 Beta 2, but it doesn't work, when you click the link, ut just gives an error message about 'OperaL'.

Anyone know what the difference is between the 12-16 and 12-17 ROM's? I flashed the 16th build 28014 std M2.5 and then checked the hot file link today and it showed that 12-17 ROM's had been uploaded. They seem the same to me except for swype is included which I can't say for sure if it was in the 12-16 ROM or not. I hope my alarm will work properly this time. It hasn't seemed to sound in the morning or at all after being "put to rest" for the night. After a soft reset it will but only after short periods of time being off.

ok I am going to get pummeled for asking this, and I know "read the posts" but, would it be out of line to ask for an error log on the OP? I have no clue what is going on with this ROM and last time I checked it was in the hundreds, now its 2000+ ?! Wow, impressive.

Renaming all ROMs to Dec 17 to eliminate confusion related to the changelogs, however the ROMs can still be a day or two older...Thanks

how do i change my onscreen keyboard..i keep trying to change it to swype but it does nothing and still has the same old keyboard...

is it not letting you change when you have the keyboard up and press just to the right of the icon??? u may want to try a sipchange.cab which is in the thread attachments,if it's not letting you do it that way

there's no arrow next to the keyboard icon and I tried changing it from settings>personal>input and it doesnt do anything...it just reverts back to touch input...im on 28014 Dec. 16 manila 2.5 xmas rom...
