I flashed 12-02 28008 2.5 and couldn't send a text like a lot of others. Going to see what's up with this ROM. I've been using the mod elsewhere and agree 1000% it's awesome, I installed the files from ahuskins post and it rocks!!!

ok, I don't follow the specifics of these ROMs as much as I would like... but could someone explain to me the "Classic Messaging Mod" that is being taken out... I have no idea what that is, or what that does. Sorry if this has been covered, I haven't found out what specifically it does and why some are bummed it's being taking out of the Dec. 5 Rom

its awesome & fast & works great. HTC Messaging App is slow/sluggish & we all hate to be Forced to used the standard windows app when there is a great alternative being developed by the same person who is giving us manila 2.5 period. all it does is allow you to click on the message & reply rather than being limited to the "all messages" softkey.

Biggest thing, i think, is the addition of the Classic Messaging Mod that is being left out of tonights builds and that has been discussed the last few posts.You SHOULD see an very nice SMS experience from Sense.

Irony-I've always loved HTC Messaging from 2.5 Sense. Never had a problem with SMS until the mod was cooked in=strange. This is on Energy ROM btw.
Like I posted a few posts ago, the mod is great and now with the post by ahuskins there is more Landscape functionality with Messaging. Anxious to see what is what with the latest release.

i dont know whats been done to them, all i know is since the 21877 builds started none have flashed to a vzw tp,well not past the boot screen at least.....i say what i say in hopes that these builds will go past the boot screen for us vzw tp owners, all the 28xxx have flashed on every release it's just that i'm a fan of 6.5 but in all honesty im missing the rom so much im gonna say the hell with it and join the 6.5.x gang till he moves past the 21877 build lol

Are we getting a rom that dosnt require tweaking or installing fixes? I hope so thats the reason why im not a chef or a cooker........................HahAha i think a chef is the same thing as a cook silly me.

No way to know until after flashing. Picmail typically needs a quick and easy work around if you want it to work from Sense. Gotta wait and see.
