Yeah that's weird mine works fine. Shows the letters on the right side

It appears a re-flash did the trick. All is working well now. I appreciate the help!

Using the current ROM I have a few questions...

• Is there a way to change the left soft key from the home menu to click for alerts and then default to Action when there are no alerts waiting?
• I used the advanced config to set the right soft key from the home menu to Programs but it sets it to Camera instead. Any idea here?
• Is there a way to not use the HTC messaging application and just the standard WM one for SMS? Same with the HTC address book? And the HTC call log? All seem to be really slow to respond, especially on screen rotations. Plus the SMS one is goofy in that you have to click into the box to start typing. Adding missed calls to the address book has been wonky as well and same with the call log. (I also find it goofy to have this redundancy and it is weird in that sometimes I go into the WM call log, then sometimes I get to the HTC one. Sometimes the WM Address Book, sometimes the HTC once.)
• On the internet tab, what is "Add a new push page" ?
• Is there a good resource for new tabs for this version of Manila?
• Is there a way to re-order the start menu honey comb?
• Is there a way to get the WM 6.1 settings menu style back? I like an organized start menu but going 3-4 deep for a settings change and having to do that each time gets old, fast. Once everything is setup I'm sure that is fine but doing the initial go ... yeeks.

Well, i resolved my problem with the contacts menu....

The re-flash did not fix the two "red charging" icons on the start bar at the top. I can't figure out why these things are showing up....

I too get those two charging icons and clicking on them, like clicking on the activesync icon, does nothing.
