This ROM is for the most advanced user, to the everyday beginner. This is one of the FASTEST and most STABLE ROMs to date running the 21864 build with the Manila 2.1. If you have any doubts, the ROM will speak for itself.

Notes: The base ROM has been stripped down to the bare minimum. Therefore there is no added bs, only what is needed to operate and function correctly. This ROM was built for speed, and to be the most stable ROM with the best support out there. All added programs and software are the latest, up-to-date versions to date. Extra Info:A little about me. I have been cooking personal ROMs for a few friends and myself since the apache 6700. I have always considered myself a perfectionist, so users ROMs never met my standards or suited my needs. No disrespect to any cooks out there, if it weren't for you all (you know who I am talking about), I wouldnt be where I am today in the phone community. I always wanted the latest OS available, with the latest drivers along with the latest versions of the programs installed. Thats when I started building my own ROMs. From there I always spent my time tweaking the ROM to perfection for the best speed and stability I could get out of the device. I have built personal ROMs for the Apache, Mogul, Touch, and now the Touch Pro. Honestly when I received the Touch Pro I was pretty unhappy with the overall speed and stability of the stock ROM. Then I ventured out to a few users custom ROMs. I was still unhappy. I never intended to go public with any of my ROMs, they were only for personal use and a couple close friends. Since the feedback I had was so positive from a few, I decided to go public. Now here we are with the first public release of SsS-ROM after weeks of closed testing. For anything else, I will let the ROM do the talking. ;)

PagePool is now set to 32.

Verizon Users may want to set the PagePool to 16.

Updated #1 post. Yes, this is for Sprint Touch Pro only at this time. I will be adding more carrier versions soon.

Edit: I was waiting to see which version users would most likely be running, then update that version for different carriers then. if you were to use one of the ROMs, which would it be? Ill start by making an Alltel version first.

Your rom looks good. I am glad to see by your your build list that this is fairly loaded. I sometimes use UC so I would go with v0114U

The screenshots look great. A couple questions: when you have someone in your people tab, can you dial multiple numbers like mobile and work? Also, are both of the KBs pictured work?

Unfortunately that is one of the 3 bugs i know of. I am working on a temp fix untill xboxmod releases a final of his manila port. I will keep the thread updated on the progress.
The ezinput2.0 should be 100% functional and working. Portrait and landscape.

I saw in Juicys thread that someone came up with a fix to the dialing out of people tab but I tried it and it didn't seem to work with the ROM I'm running. Maybe you can try it on your ROM and see if it works. It's a two CAB process which consist of reverting manila back to an older style and then the new contact card cab. Some people have reported this worked for them.

That's a smoking fast server....I downloaded the ROM in 1:57 sec's. Let's hope that is a sign of good things to come ;) .

Update:
This ROM installed really fast. There didn't appear to be any "LAG" either when I got to the point of aligning the screen. After aligning was completed...there were no customizations to be installed. As I continue to mess with this...I'll provide info that I encounter.

Update:
After installing a PIM backup...the TP slowed to a crawl. A soft reset and it's back to normal operation.

i dont think that is related specifically to this rom...for the past 2years ever since my mogul. anytime i restore a pim backup all my phones all my roms would slow to a crawl. maybe i have too many appointments or texts but i would always have to soft-reset and my phone would be back to normal...so i wouldnt consider that a bug...

looking at the screenshots ur rom looks pretty good. maybe u should check ur voicemail before releasing ur next update though, lol

I have experienced the same thing on various ROMs. PIM backup should automatically soft reset after a restore!

These are the CABS I was referring to thats suppose to fix the dialing from the people tab. Someone that has flashed this ROM try it and see if it works.

I have been looking and I'm not sure if I just overlooked but I have an Alltel HTC Touch Pro and I bought it with a sprint Rom already loaded. I am wanting to flash it back to an Alltel based rom. Has there been one created by anyone that is as stable as this guys Rom?

This ROM was originally made for Sprint Touch Pro users, since i only have a sprint touch pro to play with :P. razor helped me get a working Alltel version. here are the download links..

I flashed the ROM at 8:30PM and you can dial out of the people tabs no problem so far.

those cabs enable you to dial from the contact in manila to all numbers; you can still only dial the main number in the favorite tab

I noticed from the component list you have included TouchFlo 3_0_33125_0. This should not be included with 6.5 ROMS. It effectively replaces the 6.5 kinetic scrolling which is much better than the touchflo 3 scrolling solution. I was going to install the ROM, but once I saw that I'll hold off. The kinetic scrolling is my favorite part of windows 6.5.

Edit: Additionally the Opera 16277 version is much slower than the 15954 and also has issues with flash ads causing it to crash.

I've had the Alltel Version 0114 on my phone all day and battery life seems to be doing very well and memory usuage has seemed normal. Lookin good so far. Too early to tell as I was sleeping most of the day. Was up really late helpin Deck test this rom. I haven't used rhodium in about a month, but the usual bugs and glitches are there. For instance, when you click on the clock, it brings up call history. For some reason the volume icon in the taskbar is missing and there's just an empty space where it goes. And last, the MMS is broken. You can't even access the server settings cause when you click on Menu, there's no Pic/Video Options. This is all I've noticed. Everything else is working smoothly. And to repeat, this is my findings with the Alltel version.

I personally have not ran into these problems, although i am testing as we speak. could you advise me of a flash site that will make it crash? and for speed, i do not see a difference in the 2 builds. 16277 has been the best build i have ran so far.

kinetic scrolling working perfect here. I also have not had any problems with opera, but I've only used it a little.

I've heard this about touchflo as well, it's just not needed in 6.5. Also IMO I found Opera 16070 to be the fastest out of my testing.
