There really doesn't have to be a choice between the two. Have a chat with NRGZ...he got scrolling to work properly in his latest rom, and there's a CAB in his thread (here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...postcount=1895) that "sorta" fixes facebook (still gives bogus connect errors, but it works)

Couldn`t agree more. Every half hour I check my computer throughout the day to see if the latest release is up and running. I am very anxious because this dialer issue on the 1.20 version is killing me.

Release date should be very soon, as beta testing is looking extremely promising so far

that has been addressed several times already. there is a cab on page 70 something i believe. install that to fix the problem.

unfortunately, all that cab does is re-enable facebook if the cook has taken it out. All that cab is is a new manila file. the problem isnt in the manila files, its in the htc new contact card. Also, pheonix ROM is on an older build of manila. NRG is also on an older contact utility engine and htc new contact card. Trust me, if the issue could of been fixed, it would have been already.

Thachi Dialer, is a no go Deck. I installed the update on page 74 of your thread and still not able to dial any number. And when a call finally go through, the End key even as I press it several times does not hang up the phone call. Please test this again before adding it to your new release. It will be a real headache unless fixed. Or you could add it to the rom as a cab and that way it would be optional for those who want it and willing to go through the troubles. Thanks

in the update my tachi dialer works perfect

by the way, the cab didnt solve ur problems? u may wanna try a soft reset before u install the cab. that cab should fix the problem 100%, been confirmed many times. Sorry for any troubles u are having... v0121 soon!
