ok so far, i have updated to the latest htc task manager, which actually works a hell of alot better. Also, i added Random Access :P 3rd, i updated opera to 9.7, and just got it to work with flash!!! imo, this new opera is the best yet. I am thinkin about cooking in g-alarm, because that seems to be the only fix for the alarm. i am starting to think its a wm6.5 problem, has anybody ever used a 6.5 ROM that didnt have the alarm bug?

Sorry if this has been resolved or brought up....I tried to search this read, but could not quickly find any topics.... I love your approach to ROM cooking. I like that you are a perfectionist, so far I've tried many ROMs, but I really like that you are a perfectionist! I have a question. If it's not a problem, I have noticed this on another 6.5 ROM. Everytime you reset your phone; either manually from the bottom of phone or wiht an app, your "Ring Type" resets back to "ring" and it does not matter what ring type you set, it will revert back to "ring". If does not matter if you change the ring type from TF3D's Setting tab> sound> ring type --or-- start> settings> sound & notifications It will always revert back to "ring" as the ring type. I don't know how much work this would take or if it's even possible to fix. I just thought I bring up a bug. Thanks for the amazing ROM. |

Hello Deck, I must be a dumb-***, but did you create a new v 0120? From the first page, the v120 states Opera 9.5 and I confirmed that on my phone which I flashed with v0120-S four days ago. Am I missing something? It could be that its 2AM in the morning, but steer me in the right direction. Thanks! |

Hey Deck I wanted to let you know that every wm6.5 rom out right now has the alarm bug. I have tested several the past few days. And the weird thing is that no matter which alert tone you pick it somehow defaults to the sonar sounding tone and it plays it once and its a very short sound clip. Every 6.5 rom does the exact same thing. since it may be a while before that can be fixed I think you should go ahead and cook in g-alarm and your other updates and call it a day. Also check the youtube app version as it seems not as good and it doesn't have the option to set video quality/speed. That's about it for now, crank up the oven and cook us up an update so we can definetely call this Rom "king" of the 6.5 roms hands down!!! Thanks again Deck!!!

The alert tone that is defaulted to the alarm in every wm6.5 rom i've tested is called "alert-soft". Every 6.5 rom has this same problem and i've tested about 4 or 5 new roms for this problem. Every rom does this. The alarm actually does work but no matter which alert tone you set it gets ignored along with any other options you set. The "alert-soft" tone sounds once and vibrates once and the indicator pops up so you can dismiss or snooze but it will not repeat or anything else. I hope this helps but it's all I can say about it.
Get cookin' allready... LOL! |
