Well, I'm gonna clear storage one more time... if that doesn't work, I'll flash back to v305 til I get some feedback...

Deck,
One issue on 307 (in addition to the gyrations to get the customization to work):
the CDMA services entries still mostly say Radio1 for their text :(

I'm on the Standard ROM, 0307. One thing I've noticed is that the settings from the wm6.5 start menu takes you to the Settings tab in Manila. All settings from there takes you to the wm6.5 settings folder.

Re: *ROM* *9/14* *SsS-ROMv0307* *WM65(23017.5.3.0)* *Rhodium Manila2.1* *EzInput2.1*

Well, I reflashed v307. Again, it took me 3 clear storages to get through the entire customizations. But again, it still won't sync via activesync. After setting up a partnership, and then trying to sync for the first time, freezes the phone.

This is a bummer, especially since I really wanted to see how the "my location" in the weather tab is gonna work... I'm gonna have to flash back to v305 so that I can get my contacts back.

Oh, deck and LER, I downloaded sprite backup and tried to use it before flashing, but I got an error message, both times... I don't know... Just having drama. It's been one of those mornings for me...

My active sync worked fine. The exchange OTA sync (if that matters), and pulled in all my contacts. My exchange setup is handled by the Makisu XML file that Sahimi uses, if that makes a difference.

Well, I don't know how much of a difference it makes. But I'm working from my personal computer at home and it should sync via activesync. I've never had a problem before; not with any of the other roms. Others have had issues in the past, but this is the first time that I have had this particular issue...

Now, I'm really stumped  . I've flashed back to v305 and it's syncing as we speak (chat). Go figure...

EDIT: You think I could have had a bad download? Naw, cuz the .rar file probably wouldn't have even opened, huh?

deck uses rapidshare so he has an exact count of how many times his rom is downloaded. He doesn't want it mirrored. Sorry.

I wonder why your's is downloading so slowly. Are you on dialup? I'm on broadband and don't have that issue.

I'm on broadband. Usually on megaupload I can get 800-900 down and on rapidshare I get 200 but it always stops are starts for no reason. It has been 25 minutes and I'm at 48%.

dag... I feel ya. Well, I hope it works for you. I had already downloaded and flashed before. The rom was running beautifully, but i couldn't get it to connect to activesync. That's why I'm downloading again, so I can see if I maybe had a bad download...

I am running SsS-ROM_0307-NS, and it works fine. It could be that it's not using full-fledged GPS, but more like aGPS??? Does your Google Maps My Location work without GPS?

It was working fine for me. Make sure your data connection is on. At first, mine was lagging like that, so I checked the data connection, only to find that it was turned off. So, once I turned it on it was fine.

I'm so jealous... I had to flash back to v305 from v307 cuz I couldn't get it to sync via activesync. I was liking that "my location" feature....

It's the new messages that I have been gettikng since flashing to v305 that are not being sorted and threaded properly.

I understood you entirely and correctly, I was responding to what you said about you never backup contacts with PIM because it takes too long. But I think you have it backwards, text messages take a very long time to put back on whether the order is incorrect or not is irrelevant to my statement. I'm saying that contacts take minutes to restore while texts messages take a few hours.

Restore your contacts first without anything else and you can see.

Yes I am having issue with the FN key as well. v0307 - Stuffed, no Sprint.

When I first flashed, I went to the programs tab, and I could not add any programs. A selected all programs at the bottom, and then went back, and I was able to add programs. But I touch flo must have crashed i could not exit from the programs tab. I had to soft reset.

I have also notices that touch scrolling of the programs tab is very sluggish., it waits until i am done and then moves.

Alarm clock requires you visit the world clock before it will work.

Previous problem I had with the alarm clock was my own error I believe.

I'm sorry if I'm repeating the same question again, but I still cannot find the answer. Is there a way in 305S or 307S to specify NO roaming at all? I've been able to find this setting in other roms, but not these two.

I live in a heavily populated area, but lately it seems the towers are flaky and I will switch to roaming even in my own house, so I really need to turn off roaming or specify Sprint, or Home network only.

Thanks again.

That's the same issue I had. But I chatted with deck, he's working on figuring out what the issue is...

I went ahead and flashed back to v305-S. But I forgot the international weather wasn't on this one, so I think I'm gonna go back to good old v300-S beta6... til everything is worked out.

Plus, I JUST GOT MY TP2 IN THE MAIL TODAY!!! So, I'm gonna be playing with that. But I haven't abandoned my TP1. I think I'm gonna let my hubby use it and I want it to run nice for him...
