Use the Touch Flo settings for sounds and uncheck the option to use one volume setting for both system and phone. That should do the trick.

Battery has been covered...6.5 issue not Deck. Battery should show up when it gets low (&LT 25%)

Close issue going all the way back out to the top is a Touch Flo design issue...I have hated that from day 1.

This may be a problem that is solved by deleting some weather database file. I know this has been discussed awhile back with version 117 and 118.

hey Deck, I found 2 bugs.

1) In the contact tab, if a contact has three phone numbers (Cell, work, home), when try to make a call to the work phone number from the contact tab, it will always dial the home number.

2) Make a phone call from the contact tab, press the red "End Call" button on the LCD as soon as you see it. Now go back to the contact tab and try to make a call again. You will not be able to make anymore call to any contact.

Also, you guys should pop over to the xda thread on the 2.1 BETA port and see what the Known Issues are. They are suprisingly few but could answer a few of your questions:

-Be Advised, most (if not all) v2.0 mods/tweaks will not function properly and may crash with manila v2.1

It's worth it for the manila SMS alone but I belive that the Weather tab is being worked on.

my weather works perfectly. and they say htcweathermaster doesnt work.. i call lies. i have 2 custom cities sitting in my weather tab as we speak and they both update perfectly. no crashing.

I would have to agree. I added 4 custom cities using the Weather Master included in this ROM. Worked perfectly...!!

Man, this thing is like butter. It's running smoothly. Switches from portrait to landscape quick and flawlessly... I didn't have any issues with weather or people tabs. I used Touch Commander to install both fixes and did a soft reset, but I still can't see the headlines in the backlight adjustment settings.

Only other issue I have is from a third party app, my merriam-webster dictionary. It works, but I can't get the whole definition to fit on the screen. Definitions get cut off on the side. And I can't even send you a cab, so that you could play with it deck, cuz it's an .exe file that has to be installed from pc.

But other than that, I'M LOVING THIS!!!

Lovin it so far deck....but....

I can't adjust the backlight. They are both stuck on 50% and there is no way for me to change them. Numerous hard and soft resets haven't worked. Any ideas?

Other than that, stellar work so far...this was worth the wait.

And if anyone wants to give me a primer on an easy way to put new icons in the taskbar...like with .cabs and such, that would be appreciated. :)

This ROM is for Touch Pro ONLY and would most likely brick your Apache. Sorry mate.

I guess it wasn't designed for VGA and the "on phone" part of it doesn't work but the cabs created install fine on this rom.

Also, this is the first time I've had a problem with N4Speed Underground not running on a SsS Rom. No other unmentioned problems to report. Thanks again for a great rom!

well looks like my updated framework package is causing the bad menus. i seem to have this fixed. long press end key, just noticed that today it wasnt working, going to have to check that out as well. to the one having problems with the favorite tab buttons, it is possible u downloaded v2 before i posted v3. v3 is supposed to fix the problem u speak of. hope this helps.

I noticed that when bluetooth is on there are two notifications that sit in the tray. This happens in other recent roms but this one wont clear those unless you turn bluetooth off. Long press does not work, dialog problems as others have listed, Pocket twit is crashing for me. Also why use Jblend Jbed is a lot better, calc has the most recent R2 in his OEM or it can be gotten at XDA. Other wise this has certainly been the best overal ROM by far. Great work!

You should try Lumos to manage your backlight. it is much better than the stock. It allows you to set custom curves and set apps like youtube and album to a fixed higher level for more enjoyable viewing.

I have been using Jbed20081016.2.1.cab because of the enlarged text. It's phenomenal.

I agree, but it's a trade off: a constantly active process vs. lower backlight. I had to nix Lumos because the stock autobacklight used less battery when I had it poll every 2seconds. At night I would just turn off autobacklight. Just alittle User Experience... give it a try.

ok, not to be baron of bad news.... however i do have a small issue.. first off i must say that i ran the 0205 beta 3 for like a week and loved it, not 1 issue.. flashed the 0209 stuffed, and i dont know why but it started freezing, hard-resetting itself, i start installing programs like galarm or fingerkeyboard and when i restart either it hard resets itself of some other things happen.. long story short, i reflashed to sprint stock shipped rom, and flashed back to the 0209, must say so far, incredible! deck amazing job buddy.. my only 2 issues are, 1: it still occasionally lagged while writing a txt msg, 2: i installed the background4alltabs and when i reset it shows me a the HOME on tf3d as if its disabled, with like a big T infront of it, and the only 2 things i can press are START button or an SMS button on the bottom right,,, so i uninstalled it and all is good, does ayone have any other cab maybe to put the background on all tabs?

Is there any way you could include wmwidgetinstaller.exe in the next release? There are some 6.5 widgets I'd like to use but I can't install them. Also, can anyone upload this exe? I'd like to see if I can install these widgets without relfashing to a ROM with wmwidgetinstaller.exe cooked in.

For the text messaging lag, you can try http://www.teksoftco.com/index.php?section=speedbooster that mighty suggests. I have tried it on Mighty's ROM and it COMPLETELY eliminates the lag between your typing and what you see on the screen while texting. Try it. It might produce similar results for you here too.

About putting the background for all tabs, it was answered few pages back. Just search this thread and you'll find the answer. The background4alltabs that you are using is not compatible with the 2.1 manilla. (It is known that the 2.0 manilla mods won't work wit the 2.1 manilla and that is why your manilla is crashing on load.)

Just another "Me Too" on the backlight issue, and some other menus (like on settings/system/power, the check boxes don't appear, etc).

Other than that, this is the BEST WM6.5 ROM I've had, and will stick with it.

I really like this ROM. My compliments to the chef! I'm using the lite v. My one problem so far and I'm not sure it's even related to the ROM is my audible alerts stop being audible just randomly. No particular pattern to it. I have had this happen on other ROMS, but it was very rare. With SsS it has been happening more frequently. It could be a wm or htc thing also, so I'm not blaming the ROM, just wondering. I've gotten into the habit of doing a memmaid cleaning and then soft resetting at bedtime so my alarm hopefully won't be a silent one I would miss.
I will go thru the whole thread later, but as I'm at work right now I'm hoping for a quicker solution, I've already missed a calendar alert. A soft reset puts it all back to normal tho.
Can anyone shed any lite on this issue?

One issue I have noticed: When I download music from the music store and then try to play it is says it needs to download the license, but never does and now the songs won't play. Any help would be great

anyone know where to get the Music ID program. It's awesome for getting song titles, etc. Also, had to flash back to stock and then flash 209, awesome ROM. What do the fix files fix?

I havent downloaded the beta version with the Calendar fix but was wondering---could there be a cab put together to fix the calendar cab? I downloaded the latest version from the 1st page and dont want to use the beta 2 release.

(I've read all the pages (I think) and they all point to a new beta 2 that fixes this problem. Again, I really dont want to reflash and a cab fix would be amazing!!!)

I flashed over to this ROM last night from Juicy's and got everything configured. Worked great and I was really loving it for half a day, but a couple hours ago my phone froze up and then bricked. After multiple soft resets, battery pulls, etc., I've had no luck, and I'm unable to even do a manual hard reset. Going to re-flash now that I'm tethered and see if it can be resurrected.

I'm not aware that the beta's are on the first page at all whatsoever, in fact the beta downloaded were linked in the thread somewhere and no where was it published. The one you download on the first page should be the 209 version which I believe a lot of issues are fixed including the calendar one.

Hey spider, I was certain I've read every single post since 197 but maybe I missed something, I saw some files and cabs posted a few posts back for the 209 ROM but I didn't see anything about the backround on all tabs. If you know the name of the app that is being used for that function maybe you can just tell it to me and I'll look it up and find it. Thx dude
